All be it April fools, this wasn't intended to be a joke. It's an attempt to get something done about the seriously poor itemization in the Libram slot.

Or you can drop BR from your gear and focus on other stats (BV, avoidance, stam).

It's certainly not the best or most creative libram ever made. But I'll certainly be picking it up regardless.

Relic itemization is the worst joke in the game's entire sorry comedy festival that is itemization. There are less relics combined FOR ALL CLASSES than wands when more classes use relics. Makes sense.

DK Relics are pretty OP.

Druid ones are somewhere between decent and Meh. (basically same boat as us pallies)

Shammy ones......dunno.

So let me get this straight..

Libram of Obstruction
Binds when picked up
Libram Relic
Classes: Paladin
Requires Level 80
Equip: Your Judgement ability also increases your shield block value by 352 for 5 sec.
ilvl: 200

and this is supposed to be an upgrade?

So in other words, minus the 3 second difference between the effect from Obstruction and the Holy shield cool down, this new libram is actually WORSE then it's predecessor, 26 item levels below.

By my math the Obstruction is aprox 70.4 block value per second and the sacred shield is 34 (base values). GG Blizz. Stop being lazy and just slapping crappy block value on librams, obviously with very little math (or reason) involved.

uhm no, the new one IS better, u do judgement every 9th sec normally, so obstruction is up 5sec every 9sec, that means 5 / 9 * 352(blockvalue) = 196 blockvalue average from obstruction
while u have holy shield up pretty much the whole time, giving sacred shield 272 blockvalue average.

For a slow hitting boss fight your 8 charges aren't going to be used up. But try saying the same on just about any trash pull or a fast hitting boss.

and often theres movement and casting other spells and such keeping u from judging every rotation too, which means u can often have obliterate libram off for a whole rotation

Name me one boss that's likely to burn through HS with a 50% pure avoidance chance and unhit... even if you get unlucky with avoiding, it's going to be extremely rare that any boss will be hitting you enough to take out HS, an avg of 16 attacks in 8s (well, 9s in 969, but you can always push it forward if it's getting eaten that fast)? Also, the new libram provides constant mitigation, whereas the badge one doesn't - I'd take a static 200 BV over 400 BV up 50% of the time tbh (note: This is a comparison purely for the purposes of constant v on demand mit). If a boss like Illi or Leo could do it, we'd know about it as they'd be almost untankable, that's a good example of fast hitting bosses.

Bitter? Yeah, most of us are. Librams have been pretty bad for a long time. Compare the Libram of Reciprocation to any DK relic that increases a strike's damage. GAME OVER.

Tbf, it's only useful marginally for AoE TPS (single target TPS and mitigation for everything but spells [including elemental melee] is covered by the BV libram); at that it's only ~4 TPS better than a blue in heroic Sethekk - not a high prio for raids, be glad your raid got something worthwhile instead of the biggest joke of a libram ever - even including the original BRD libram.

No one with any idea of gearing would use the consecrate libram for anything other then the iLVL achievement.

The problem is choice and lack there of... they took our choice away, let us choose what we like better for our play style not stick us in a box of talents and relics we have no choice but to take just to get further up the tree or relic we have to use because you are to lazy to just let us equip them.. not asking that we get to use them.
