Haste more viable..with SOM/SOB

So with the changes to SOM/SOB will haste have a bigger role in 3.1?

I hope so...all of our dam gear is loaded with it and everyone says it is aweful compared to exp/hit/crit.

Anyone on the PTR have an opinion on this?

Haste will have a larger impact on your dps as of 3.1 due to SoB/SoM scaling, still not something to gear towards/socket for but alot more useful compared to live, making tier gear more valuable than just for grabbing the 4 peice :P

Hit/Exp until capped or str/crit will still be a superior stat and should only be taken if it comes with gear.

It still is awful since all of the spells scale with AP and your spellpower scales with AP.. That's the sad truth. You don't need to exactly avoid haste gear, but don't specifically gear for it either and never gem or enchant for it.

in next patch u need 25% less haste rating to make up 1% haste.

in next patch they buff sob/som by rougly 50% damage

yes, haste will be more viable in 3.1

Haste rating will give 30% more benefit to you in 3.1, and with judgment damage going down and seal going up, haste will mean more SoB/M damage as well.
