Haste or crit for mage pvp?

Any opinions on which to stack for pvp? Im guessing crit but am unsure...as I stack haste with my pve gear.

Unless you're dumb enough to spec Fire for PvP, haste is superior for every spec.

Haste affects the global cooldown, and if you don't do anything else than Arcane Barrage, you need to learn to play.
Haste for every PvP spec.

Always have at least some spell pen. 35-cloak enchant and a blue 20 spell pen in gloves is okay. Having around 300-400 haste is good. IMO too much is a waste and really screws with your sp. Have a balance of spell pen, 300-400 haste, and rest sp.

i run with ~ 95 spell pen in my pvp gear, but its really personal preference. i think its good to have at least 80, but wut do i know.

well, every other mage is running with at least 80-120 resist to all, and then there's those tricky warlock pets. best goal is 100 spellpen, but 80-100 is fine.

arc barrage CD= 3 seconds, not lowered by haste.

haste overall isn't important for arcane as it is for frost

I use a lot of haste even as arcane because mashing barrage isn't gonna do you crap to kill anyone - you gotta get ABs in there for burst and the faster you get them off the better.

arc blast has a short base cast time anyway along with 6% haste from talents. haste stacking isn't as important for arcane as it is for frost

It's not *as* important but it doesn't mean it's not still important - topic is haste/crit for pvp not is haste better for arcane or frost

Not to mention if you stack haste it makes your missile barrage proc channel faster. The faster it channels the faster people die ^.^ its really hard to heal through something that can crit for 4k+ damage each missile

sorry, why would you get loads of crit as arcane? critting isn't what makes arcane good, its the insane burst. insane burst faster is far more reliable than rng crits. stack haste.
