yesterday, i started working on my old clusterfuck of an UI.

work so far:

still working on it, i want to get the block in the right lower corner away, but without hiding too many of my abilities.
cant stand it if i cant see them on somewhere on the screen.

and im not that happy with the raid frames.

As mentioned, microbar/professions can definitely be mouseover to eliminate some clutter.
As for raid frames, I'd maybe consider moving them a bit further up on the screen, and reconsidering the positioning of your unit frame/target frame purely because they're not very important to us as healers

Elvui, bigwigs, weak auras, using a lua edit for the 2px borders.
Fonts are (or should all be) all expressway regular.

I always play with the cursor at right, just an habit to take. I have a 27" so it's not small on my monitor, I just have to mouseover and push my binds.

I get what he's saying though. I don't know how stupidly easy they made WoW, but in my days you actually had to see the environment once. Placing your most important information in a tiny box on the furthest corner of your eye vision isn't going to help.

Hey Drayarr, its been requested before but I would love to know what addons/set up you have. I really love how everything is centralised around your character and I was hoping to build something similar to it! any help would be appreciated

So recently I started working on alternative layout for my UI that I call "traditional".



It'll feature horizontal player/pet frames, minimap in top right corner, etc. TBQH, I haven't used horizontal pet/player frames since early WotLK, now I find them quite inconvenient

It's still WIP af, I'm still working on the list of options I need to add to unit frames and other widgets to make it actually usable.

Btw i have a thing with Personal Resource Display for Elvui. I have attached the Weakauraw on it but when the WA go off the Nameplate stays on for 2-3sec more...is there a way to change that(the hide delay is on 0) or even make it go away without loosing my WA?

Thought I'd post my own. Design was mostly inspired by some youtube vid I saw a while back with the player healthbar in the middle with all necessary info focused near the center. Everything else is bound and hidden.



Also, might as well ask how to solve that 2 Crusade CD showing below. It's Raven that was set to show any major Cool Down spells and trinkets once used but recently Crusade suddenly appears twice, not sure why.

looks nice, but you should remove some Clocks, 3 Clocks Spotted :P
