can anyone tell me how to correctly activate his hardmode?

i mean, you have to speak to the second npc, not the one who starts the event.
than you have to kill or, not to kill the ice, frost and so on towers.

we didnt do anything to them yesterday, but there was no hardmode, he didnt use any skills for hardmode and he did not drop hardmode too.

so i heard about people who destroyed all this towers, and nothing happend there too..

so is it bugged, or how to activate the hardmode?

speak to everyone and do not! destroy towers.

Exactly. Hard mode is leaving any of the towers up and activated after speaking to the NPCs to activate them. You will get a varying amount of hard mode gear based on how many are left up.
