How do you really make Gold?

Hey. I just wanted ask around how do you lot make your gold? Now Obvs Proffs etc would help with this. But playing my rogue having Mining and Jc (Max Skill) ive never really got above 5-6k. Just wnadered how people really do get above 20k or so?

Gathering Professions + AH + Auctioneer = max Profit

I have 20k+ on one character and that is from pretty much only doing dailies and selling drops.

ive got a little thing i always do when i log in, wich is Buy Saronite ore for 1000g . prospect and sell as gems,, making tons of money

Get designs:
runed scarlet ruby (red)
solid sky sapphire (blue)
smooth autumn's glow (yellow)
inscribed monarch topaz (orange)
sovereign twilight opal (purple)
enduring forest emerald (green)
Chaotic skyflare diamond (meta)
austere earthsiege diamond (meta)

Buy 1000g or even more on the AH on mats.
Cut all gems
Put 2 gems a kind at the same time on AH for 12hours.
Wait 12 hours. Walk to mailbox, collect money and not sold gems.
Walk to AH, replace 2 gems a kind for 12 hours.
Redo till you have your 1000g of mats and rebuy mats for 1000g.
Make profit.

This is the way I make money. Like 2000-4000g a week. And if I want more money then I buy more mats.
I can even buy Saronite ore and go prospect.
I made 16K in one week once. (I love 3.1 patch when everybody got new loot that's need gems)

Selling gems and glyphs. I have an alt with herbing/mining and a main with inscript/JC (for raiding purposes). I use this to gather mass amounts of mats turn them into gems or glyphs and from there its easy easy money.Your not going to get any amazing tips in this thread because the more money you make the less someone else will.

Then i prospect all ores i get when i do my dailys and take all green gems + eternals and make green ring/neck´s and send to my alt that is enchanter and DE everything and send to my bankalt and put it on ah.

I only need 25.800g for my 3 last vendor mounts for my 100 mount ach then im gonna stack up all gold i get ;d
Right now i have 19k.

One tip that you can do sometimes is following -

Check when its next world event.
When it was childrens week ive sold cakes for 55g each. Bought mats for around 30g so earned 25g there!
(If i could be abit smarter i could buy mageroyal and farm egg´s some weeks before and earn 55 pure gold.

Im a tailor/enchanter and dont really make any gold from these at all (I tend to ignore trade chat alot though most of the time)

Yesterday tho I did make over 6k gold just by being in the right place at the right time, I saw someone wanted some valor BOE bracers and I had loads of badges and nothing to spend them on so that was a quick 1200g, I then logged on my alliance lvl 1 and saw someone wanted to buy a horde Agent tourement pet so I did a quick transfer and bingo another 5k gold. That was more right place, right time gold making. Otherwise its just dailys I tend to make gold from.

@ OP, Ive heard that mining is a great gold maker tho, lots of veins about to mine and alot of people I know just sell the ores on AH.

i don't really have a strategy or a plan to make money. it just comes by itself when you play the game. a good way to earn money is to lvl some alts. got 5 chars above 70, 4 of em got epic flying. my dk will get it with 77. and i've never had any money problems.

I just do alot of dalies (WG/BG/Grizz/AT/IC etc), farm skinning (rogue) and on my main (mage), i am ench and tail.. Tail actually sells pretty good... Since i already got alot mats, i can easly craft Ebonweave for no money, and sell it for 86g each.. I also sell Moonshroud for around 78g and Spellweave for 60g..

But it's just about time.. Just quest for one day, and see how many gold jeg have maked... You will be surprised

My Main (80 Hunter~Roonweld~Moonrunner US server), is an Enchanter/Miner. I run circles for a few hours in Sholozar Basin. Get about 10-12 titanium nodes, with the Mats i get from mining, i make all of the titansteel bars i can(Ask guildies/froends to use CD's for free ), then with all of the bars i just AH them Seperatly. With all of the blue gems i AH as well (Got 2 scarlet rubies last time) save the green gems and Eternal Earth. Buy more Eternal Earth/ Chalcedony/Bloodstone/Suncrystal/ and Huge citrine and i make Bloodstone bands and its equivelant with the Suncrystal/Chalcedony and Huge citrine. Then mail them to my Chanter and spend about an hour and a half d/e ing (With Enchantrix) and before you no it, i have 2k in infinit dust/ Greater Cosmic Essences / and Dream shards. On weekends, i own the AH

>.< --Watch the prices for Eternal Earth and gems rocket up. if you dont want your server to be like mine and having Eternal Earth at 150g/ stack and Bloodstone at 60g/stack(Which you can still make a decent profit with those prices), i suggest that you guys be discrete (<--Spelling fail?) and dont buy them all at once....or just farm the eternal earth and buy the gems or prospect saronite...it all works.

P.S- This is pretty time consuming but if you play and buy smart it wil stay cheap for longer and you can do this forever. I've made (averaged) 5000-6000g a week off glyphs and another 1000g a week off other stuff (enchanting mats, crusader scrolls, relisting cheap herbs) since 3.1.&#160; Sitting at around 50k right now.&#160; Requires me to play about 15 minutes before work in the morning and 45-60 min before raid in the evenings.&#160; Sometimes I'll add another 20 min after raid to relist some stuff that's been undercut.

Glyph money is dropping off slowly though.&#160; It'll probably stabilize around 3k a week once the dual spec market has been mostly saturated.&#160; I should note that the glyph market is *highly* competitive on my server. On other servers, I'm sure you could make more gold.

ok this how i make 1 k a day:

buy heaps and heaps of saronite ore, prospect.
I have all the jc recipe so cut one of each gem, put on ah.
the green gems i use in making skyflare and earthsiege, and i have alchemy transmute spec, so I get many free procs. Cut one of each meta gem, put on ah.
I also make lvl 70 boe jc ring and necklaces with crystallized earth and the greens gems from prospecting. send to alt to disenchant. sell mats on ah.
have all incription recipes (but not glyph mastery ones, not yet neway) so i make only the most expensive glyphs, put on ah.

do twice a day. made over 200k like this :P
