Should I switch specs?

I just got the Rune-etched night blade off of 10 man iron Council in Ulduar, it is a 1.4 speed offhand sword, but i am currently mutilate spec, What should I spec into for this sword? Should I wait for a good MH? Should I even switch? I would appreciate any input Thank you in advance!

Sword spec is dead. So no.

unless your swords are vastly superior to your mut daggers then definately not. Sword spec isnt exactly dead, its just the worst dps of the combat spec's and the top end weapons are fists/daggers (a whole item tier higher) which makes the gap between QCQ and swords a lot bigger than it otherwise would be.

Put the sword you got in your bank and polish it once in a while, just incase they change sword mechanics one day.

First of all Sword spec isn't dead. Infact it only falls ~40DPS behind the best CQC Combo you can get with BiS gear.

So, general rule of thumb for rogues is: Go with the best weapons you have and spec accordingly.
