I really miss AFKing on the Org bank roof in T6.
Everyone would see that I'm wearing T6 and think 'Wow, he must be good at WoW.'
I'd usually get multiple /tell's from people saying 'Hey, nice gear' over the course of the day.
I remember before I started raiding, seeing people walking around in really cool looking gear and asking where they got it inspired me to join a raiding guild and progress as much as I could.
Right now, everyone looks the same. It really sucks.
The bad Druid who wipes on Kel'Thuzad with PUGs for hours every week looks the exact same as that one Druid from vodka or Exodus or some other top guild; you can't tell the difference between them by looks.
Given a month or two, everyone level 80 and their dogs will had had T8 handed to them on a silver platter; for most classes, the four piece bonus makes four pieces of T8 best in slot. And then there's the massive number of people who currently wear 5/5 Valorous or Heroes just because they don't know how to gear their class properly. Either way, there won't be/isn't loot from hard modes to replace it and make you actually look like someone who's done hard modes.
There won't be anything to distinguish the hardcore raider whose done all hard modes from someone who spends 20 hours clearing Ulduar 10 every week.
It's really kind of disappointing.
Obviously there are still titles, but they're really lackluster compared to having cool/unique visuals.
