    interest in bosses

i saw yogg-saron and he was not what i had in mind, it's strange why blizzard makes the hardest bosses - tentacle or sea monstrosity's like i just figured c'thun - pre tbc hard boss - Lady vashj - medium tbc boss - and now ulduar boss - Yogg'saron which i haven't actually fought here

Yogg-Saron and C'Thun have nothing to do with sea monstrosities. That's you associating tentacles with octopuses. C'Thun and Yogg-Saron are gods of old times.

Take this statement: Whatever dominant species still living on this earth when the Sun explodes will be as vastly different from us as we are from the first single-cell organisms that started life on the earth.

It should give you an aha-experience that you should somehow be able to apply to your misunderstanding that tentacles have anything to do with water what so ever.

That extremely long run on sentence makes no sense.

Please click the modify button and add periods and maybe even some commas. Click post so we can read what you are asking/commenting on.

If I understand your comment correctly, I think my opinion is: "Absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Meaning: Their power transforms them into some huge monstrosity.

Otherwise.. I'm sure there's some reason in the lore for it...

they say no question is a stupid questions, but from what i can decipher from what you posted, yours is a stupid question.

    its like saying:

why are blizzard making lots of humanoid bosses!
    It's just a game.

i can only honestly think of the 3 you posted... maybe the faceless guy i guess.... but i dont think that constitutes many.

the reason behind it? well its blizzards game you'd have to ask them. but things with tentacles tend to be scarier XD
    It's just a game.

Asked out of curiosity, well understand now that blizzard just makes bosses out of their imagination and creativity

    Re: interest in bosses

Blizzard tends to draw alot of their inspiration for stuff in WoW from HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos.

    To put it in short,

    C'thun: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chthonian_(Cthulhu_Mythos)

    Yogg-Saron: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yog-Sothoth

Although, based on the way he actually looks Yogg-Saron could also be a reference to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shub-Niggurath
