Hey guys i once tried Less-Rabi but his last transformation went way to fast any1 knows a timer addon that says : X seconds till *boss* casts *attack*

best way as far as i heard is to have a shammy spec into faster cooldowns on shocks, essentially making it a 5 sec cd and just keep spamming the earth/wind shock button, the transformation is on a 5 sec cd, sometimes tho he does the earthquake thing just b4 the transformation so you may be fukked anyhow.

When he's over 50% it's a 10s cooldown. Under 50% it's 5s. Just time it all right.

i think a rogue once told me there is either a glyph or a talent that makes rogues do spell interrupts with fan of knives, which has no cooldown. maybe it's something they changed, maybe i misunderstood, but i don't wanna look like an ass trying to find such a rogue, so am i onto something?

Have 2 rogues spec into imp throwing spec, which gives interrupt to fan of knives, at 50% use AR and spam it, then once first one is over, have 2nd rogue do it. Should be dead before the 2nd AR is done.

its a talent in combat called improved trowing (or summit) but FoK is hardly spammable without completely neglecting any damage you do

Thats why you use AR, you are able to spam it. Also it does do decent enough dps, atleast to kill a heroic boss.

And it is doable without this, or using a silence. When i got mine, we had a rogue(wasn't spec'd for FoK interrupt), myself (prot war), ele shaman, boomkin, pally.

I've done it successfully twice, and this is generally how we did it:

Set up an interrupt rotation above 50% health. If your dps is good you probably only need one if you're burning him fast and time it right; two if you're trying to get it just right. In either case you're going to want him around 40-50% when he gets ready to cast his next growth; as the cast time of his growth is dependent on his health, if you lock him out at 60% and then burn him to 30% before he tries to cast you'll probably miss it. At this point make sure the player with the longest duration interrupt goes for it (some classes won't interrupt him longer than the cooldown, but others like mages help buy you a few extra seconds) and blow everything you've got. Then around 10-15% we just have people start randomly throwing their interrupts out; the cast is too fast to react to. First time we got it off a Windshock from our healer, second time I hit it with my Shield Bash.

If you're really struggling witht this I'd say having both a mage (for the long interrupt) and a shaman (heroism, extra fast interrupt) helps. Having at least one other class with a short-cooldown interrupt (Death Knight, Warrior, Rogue) also smooths things over.

Did it with reverb ele shaman (me) 2 geared rogues, a hunter (any strong dps can take that spot), and a warrior tank. Below 50% I got the first cast, everryone counted 5 seconds and started spamming kick and shield bash, and we got a lil lucky and kiled him on our first try. TBH it takes some luck. GL brah.

We did it in a 4 DPS + 1 tank grp
Feral druid ( me )
Ret paladin
Arcane mage
Elemental shaman
Prot warriors

Paladin got the first interput, Shaman 2nd, then we POP Hero mage got the third and he died before casting the last one.
If u wana make sure u do it right, at 50% stop DPS and wait untill he uses the Aoe stun.

We had a total of 18k DPS.

You don't need that much dps, you do need however reactive CC

I think when I did it we had 12k dps.

We had a Pally Tank... Tank used the below macro. The only interrupter was a Shaman who picked up Reverberation, so that she had a 5 second earth shock.

If the shamn nails the 25 second one perfectly... then everyone blows every cooldown, and goes for the kill... otherwise, run out of the instance and reset.

By nailing it perfectly, I mean you should never even see the cast bar appear.

I'd really get a Shaman to respec into Reverberation. Changes his interrupt to a 5 sec CD which matches Moorabi's CD perfectly.

If you have awesome DPS, you can kill him without a Shaman before the 5th Transformation. The first 4 Transformations are usually interruptible given human reaction time and Internet latency. The 5th is impossible, you'd have to be really lucky. If you don't have really good DPS friends, get a Shaman and pay for his respec. Even at 100g it will save you money on repairs and time. I 1-shotted it with a respecced Shaman.

Have the Shaman interrupt < 50%, then have him spam his interrupt. Don't try to react to his cast bar, by the time you see the cast bar it will be too late. Just have the Shaman spam interrupt and it will work.

Did you guys even do the achievement or did you just bug it?

The cast time gets faster that lower his hp gets, its pretty much impossible to kick him <15% due to you wont even see the cast, you will just have a castbar blink up what is full immediate.

So having macros and crap or interupting on GCD wont help you, maybe with insane luck.

The tactic is much more simple then wired interupt tactics (waht arent going to work) - interupt his cast pre 30% with a long locking interupt and dps him down in until the interupt runs out.

The way we did it, we had 4 people. We did heroism at the start and did the 3rd interupt when he was at about 35%. After that everyone counted to 5 and just blew their interupts at random. We were lucky enough to interupt him and successfully got the achievement. Good luck!

I got the 2nd interrupt

at 35% i bloodlust
We wait until the casts, Mage interrupts (which seems to successfully lock him out for 10 seconds)
and we burn him to 0% before he can cast again.

The way my group did it was 4dps, 1 tank. Shaman pops hero, mage counterspells the first one, hes dead before he gets the 2nd one off. Took 3 nights of trying, because if you do this strat and 1 thing goes wrong he dies before you can stop dps.

I got first interrupt, Rogue second, shammy third and he was dead.
Shammy blew heroism up front and I bubble walled for the last bit of the fight.
