Mage/Rogue or Mage/Retadin

So me and my friend do arena, me on my Arcane Mage and him on his Ret Pally and we seem to only have 2 counter comps. Almost every time we lose to Resto Druid/Lock or we lose to Disc Priest/Rogue. But my friend also has an 80 rogue and I was wondering if we would have less or more counter comps if we did Mage/Rogue, which is what we used to do back in BC. Any tips would help.

As MR you'll still have a rough match against those teams but druid/rogue is practically impossible to beat as MR as well so... idk, whatever you enjoy more. The grass is always greener, you can get 2k with either comp.
