The Esoteric Foundation is a raiding guild with a stable core of people that are looking for more dedicated, hardworking raiders for the last jump up into the elite.

We've existed for over 2 years, and have a solid core of leaders and support systems (website, 1-2 vent servers, etc). We're hard-raiding with 5-6 raid days each week, did realm first on the first three Ulduar 25 bosses following extensive PTR testing and a non-stop schedule for Progress Raiding. We took Yogg in the second week of Ulduar, after close wipes in the first week.

We currently have a solid, talented core of 17-25 people. What we are looking for is the last few people with skill, dedication and the morale needed for 7-day wipefests and intense progress raiding. Our realm is friendly and well-established, and as leading horde guild we hope to find the last few players needed to beat the lone Alliance guild ahead of us for the Realm First Achievements.

Classes with openings:

Death Knight - 1 tank
Shadow Priest - 1
Holy/Disc Priest - 1
Mage - 1
Rogue - 2

...but like most guilds, we'll always consider applications from exceptional players.

You need to be:

Dedicated - +75% raid attendance is taken very very seriously. It's 75% of all raids, not just 75% of raids when you have nothing better to do.
A Student of the Game - You need to not only know how to play your class in the most effective way, you should also know WHY that is the most effective way.
Tough-skinned - We're a friendly place, right up until you wipe us for the fourth time on stupidity. That's when we bring your mom into the picture. And a large cucumber. And Tabasco. If you can't take that with a smile, we're not the place for you.
Perfect English - We value communication a lot, and as such your English needs to be perfect and expressing yourself should not be scary to you.
Solid PC, Solid Connection - We know some of you can't help disconnecting, but that doesn't change that we can't use you if you DC more than once a month.
