This is very, very misguided, and just poorly constructed. Do you honestly think Blizzard decides to nerf an encounter (or buff as with hard modes) based on the forums? The forums are so heavily dominated by people that comlain about the ease of things and yet don't quit. Not to mention the forums often are filled with a complaint about everything.

No, Blizzard does not nerf things or buff them because people complain. Blizzard nerfs them because they watch their and they gather tremendously more accurate and useful information than any site can track, or any of us can get a hold on. So when they see with their information then they decided to change things, because guess what? They are a for profit company. They are going to do what will keep their revenue high. And that means nerfing things until the average player(read: the middle point between the best and the worst, this is not a scrub) can realistically hope to accomplish defeating Ulduar before 3.2/3.3.

FFS, stop acting like the mmo forums represent the entire population, when the odds of even 1/3 of WoW players visiting here regularly is abysmal at best.


On topic: I'm jealous, I've been trying to convince my 10 man team that this would be possible, or maybe even soloable.

You can make up numbers and statistics all you want. But the average ratio to "Stop nerfing content" to "Please nerf content" is pretty damning.

Heigan was 2 mannable WITH your own class mechanics. Heigan was a 2nd boss, FL is a 1st boss. Ulduar may be easy, but naxx is easier. Now hurry up and link the armory profile to your char in full BiS Ulduar gear with all hard modes and algalon complete 10 and 25 with the glory of the ulduar raider achievement.

Nope. Loatheb enrages after some 15 odd minutes, two non-DPS classes can't do his life bar that fast.

Edit:
This is currently not soloable, you have to do more damage to him than he does to you based off % life, it would take way better ilvl gear.

doing normal 25man with less than 10 people might be doable, but you'd need some pretty sweet gear, and perfect timing.

Blizz added that enrage timer after some people were 2 manning the boss it wasnt always there

Nice job guys and thanks for the inspiration, we couldn't do it with 2 players on 10 man but we managed 7 players on 25 man.
