You're doing alright, i'd say 7/10

You are not expertise capped, and i can see you have gemmed expertise in alot of slots, but you could still easily swap some t9 or t8 that has expertise on it and easily get the cap. I think you are wasting valuable gem slots. Also, you seem a bit confused on your other gems, agility, crit, etc. Not sure if you have it, however if you are trying to make your meta get the nightmare tear. Other then that, you're doing good.

Edit: You have the tear however, there is no need to gem for hit rating with how high yours is right now.

Well you know, you probably should not gem agi/hit in your yellows...just saying. Or expertise/hit...Are you really that close to the crit cap that you need all that hit? I mean everybody likes a few socket bonuses every now and then, but you should probably be aiming for the ArP hard cap as Hack and Slash combat, or just pure AP, depending on whichever your spreadsheet says is boss. You do not need to gem so much expertise as combat either.

My current gem choices are optimal, but you keep dishing out advice about expertise in regards to combat and ignore how much more important it became since the patch.

i would switch out hte BF hood for the 245 badge one ( to pick some expertise. you really need to drop that trinket with more exp gear. get the hit/att pwr badge trinket if u have no other), drop he 20att pwr and 15 stam gem in your bracers for a nightmare tear( if thats your blue for your meta) change the pure agi gems to pure att pwr, enchant your cloak with haste, and level engineerin so you can toss some bombs

If I were you i'd get the engi boot/cloak chants (23 agi and 23 crit orso!)

My Rogue is very much a work in progress. He only hit 80 a week ago. I know I need to trade the agi gem in the gloves for an AP gem. Other than that, ignore the blue gems in the shoulders and belt. I hate shelling out gold for stuff I'm going to upgrade soon anyway.

Upgrades I'm currently targetting:

- Unsharpened Ice Razor (OH)
- Badge shoulders
- Barbed Ymirheim Choker from Heroic PoS
- Chewed Leather Wristguards from PoS
- Blighted Leather Footpads from HoR
- At least one of the badge trinkets (I think the hit from both would be over the top)

Upgrades I could use suggestions on:

- Belt (Flayer's Black Belt from PoS normal or Belt of the Twilight Assassin from Conquest badges?)
- 2nd Ring (Band of Stained Souls from Heroic PoS?)
- 2nd Trinket
- Cloak

I can potentially get into my guild's ToC25 normal runs for alts, so I might be able to look for upgrades there also. In any case, any suggestions, pointing out errors I've already made, or pointing out errors in my planning would be appreciated.

your gear is nice, could be better, but i'm sure personal skill accounts for any lack of gear inbetween other top dps'ers in your guild. i think its a mighty shame you had to gem so much expertise to get to cap, but i'm blanking out as to what gear in icc actually has expertise that you could equip =/

Looks good overall, but why not get the new crafted boots so you dont have to gem to get the expertisecap?
Although, you'll loose even more when when you're already a bit low

Hi Guys,

I need a little help here... I had the Knightbane Carapace and was arp gem'ed to 1401. This gave me a sustained un buffed 6200 dps on a training dummy.. I had an expertise of 14.

I was lucky enough to pickup the Ikfirus's sack of wonder and have gem'ed it to expertise of 25 and now have an arp of 1391... now the sustained un buffed training dummy is giving me around 4300dps???

What the hell have i done wrong?? really appreciate you assistance... i am 20/51/0
