PvP Frost Spec

LF a spec for Frost PvP mostly arena and a little BG's Partner is going to be a Holy Paladin.

This is what i came up with

It seems to me that BLizz is trying to replace HB with Oblit, but would i still be using HB on high armor targets and OB on cloth wearers?

Please pass along any tips that you think might help.

looks like someone heared "oh, 17/51/3 is a DK spec, MUST be this"

this would take pages to write down WHY this spec is total crap - so I can just suggest you to search the DK forum for one of the other 10000 DK pvp spec threads...

u want chains of ice to put frost fever on cuz that puts on chilblains

which chains are dispellable
chailblains are not

plus glyphed howling blast is aoe snare

and yes obliterate does more damage so use it on cloth and leather

save howling blast for mail/plate

use ur rime procs when ever u can

when ur gonna burst only do it like so

full runic power
apply diseases
deathchilled and unbreakable armored obliterate (trinket here aswell)
frost strike spam
howling blast and obliterate spam after that


in arena for me ususally i can kill somone once i get to full runic power through
trinketed cooldowned obliterate , frost strikex3 howling blast/obliterate (situtatonal for armor)

also i use the fang trinket from heroic DTK for obliterate

but if u have an attack power one then make the opening obliterate a howling blast if target is plate or mail
cuz armor penetration doesn't help spells but does obliterate

(actually replace icy touch glyph with frost strike glylph)

No Tundra Stalker is the single biggest fail I have ever seen in a Frost spec.

Your spec is almost as bad as the OP - You're still learning the very basics about this class, so you are NOT fit to give advice on it. Just shut up and learn.

it's not essential cuz self healing is something needed if u don't have a healer or ur healer dead

First of all, if you looking for a spec means you don't know enough about class mechanics and need help. Best way to avoid big mistakes is stopping of own fantasy! Don't try to develop own build, you'll fail anyway. For example, build you linked contains at least five critical errors:

1. No Subversion, means no additional 9% of crit on Obliterate
2. No Runic Power Mastery, means -1 Frost Strike in your burst
3. No Chill of the Grave, means problems with Runic Power generation.
4. No Endless Winter, means you'll spend your RP on cast interuptions and no desease from Chains of Ice.
5. No Tundra Stalker, means you lost 15% of your damage.

Instead of these five critically important talents you spent your points on useless Blade Barrier, Imp. Icy Touch and Acclimation. Playing with Pally means 4-6 strikes killing of opposing player, while his party being controlled with Hungering Cold, Repentance, stun or can't assist him because of Strangulate. So, use common 15/53/3 and enjoy with it. Really working builds could be found at sk-gaming.com and similiar sites.

kindness goes a long way but i was gonna say all u do is insult people but i found ur posts under best stats for a dk so i must revoke that thought otherwise that's all u do...

i do agree that frost isn't the most popular but it is probably the best i'm usually in the top dps only ppl that have topped me are super competant unholy dks and that one 50/00/21 guy

i wasn't looking for a handout i was simply asking for a link so as to read more about it maybe if the rotation suits me respec....

problem is that some people actually favorite the pages of info they like and a person who wanted to help might think
