About Sanctum
Sanctum is among the oldest of the guilds on the Maelstrom; we've been raiding since vanilla WoW around the time of the ZG release. The original core of veterans from this time is still largely intact along with long standing members who have joined us during our journey through TBC and WoLTK. We had stopped raiding during Cataclysm. But we are back now!

Raid Information
We are currently planning on raiding 3-4 days a week with raid invites starting at 19:00 and first pull at 19:30. Raids are scheduled to end at 23:30 gametime but can on occasion go on longer if progressing. All times are gametime.
Raid and Guild Philosophy
Our aim as a guild is to conduct our raids in a thoroughly proficient and enjoyable environment, clearing content through skill rather than directing huge amounts of time to it. As such anyone prospectively looking to join must fit in with this overall strategy:
>Being highly skilled and willing to theorycraft and play your class to the max.
>Willing to always ensure you are prepared for raids with appropriate consumables, gems and enchants.
>Ability to always act maturely and respectfully towards fellow guildmembers. This covers every aspect of membership, from raiding to general demeanor - Sanctum is a community first and a raiding guild a close second, so we expect members to be able to deal with disputes and disagreements without an intervention or some kind of third party peace delegation.
>Ability to see the bigger picture regarding loot. We use a loot council system and always do our best to allocate loot to where it is most needed and deserved: excessive whining about loot will not be tolerated as our objective is to enjoy the game and not simply pimp our characters out.
>In a 10 man environment, flexibilty is often the key to success. As such we expect to see no whining when the (currently ridiculous) balance requirements dictate you step out of a raid. We hope this doesn't happen often but sometimes, inevitably, it will. Additionally if you are a hybrid class having fully raid-ready offspecs that can fufill multiple raid roles is something we consider highly desirable (though not 100% essential) for the same reason.
Lastly, and critically, Sanctum is a guild that has always had a certain penchant for a "unPC" or twisted humour. Obviously none of this is meant seriously, so the easily offended are advised to exercise caution!
