What is your craftable source of Infinite Dust?

I'm finding Infinite Dust to be the limiting factor in materials.

I've got most of my recipes before doing 80 instances (disenchanting saronite BS blues into Dream Shards). Now I'm looking for a decent way to keep up my supply of Dust. I've had fairly good luck in the past with disenchanting the lvl 77 JC green rings, but I've been getting Dream Shards from them lately. Some mid 70 Tailoring stuff works out okay, but takes a good amount of cloth.

AH Prices:
Infinite Dust ~5 gold each
Dream Shards 10-20 (usually sell around 17)
Frostweave Cloth ~1 gold each
Eternal Earth 10-20 gold

Does anyone have any craftable items that has a good DE rate into Dust?

Weapons disenchant into Essences while armor disenchants into dust

For Armor:70-72
Infinite dust : 75%
Lesser Cosmic Essence: 20%
Small dream shard: 5%

For Weapons: 70-72
Infinite dust: 20%
Lesser Cosmic Essence: 75%
Small Dream shard: 5%

The lvl 70 rings made from 1 green gem + 2 crystillized earth.
My JC character buys gems for max 1.5g each and Eternal earths for max 10G each.

That means maximum material cost of 3g 50s. Make the ring and disenchant.
I then sell the Dusts for 4G 23S (4G after AH Cut). So thats makes me a 50s net profit on a 1:1 basis. I make my money from the procs.



Todays Craft & Disenchant Session

100 Rings (5 stacks of Gems & 25 Eternal Earth) = 156 Dusts + 23 Lesser Cosmic Essences + 5 Small Dream Shards.



I've also heard Arctic Boots from Leatherworking (370 skill and needs 8 Borean Leather) yield a very high profit margin if you can buy stacks of Borean Leather for 7G or less.

Agreed, the JC craftable green rings are a great choice.
One is crafted with 1x Eternal Earth and 1x Eternal Shadow, the other requires 2x Eternal Earth.

So basically I craft the first one when I need dusts (unless Eternal Shadow is cheaper than Earth).
You will usually net about 3-5 dusts per ring, if you are "unlucky" you'll get essences. But hey, those sell great!
