    stat changes in 3.2 ptr

    right i think the dps difference will not be that great, however what im more concerned about is the stat changes

    according to the post crits deal double damage, assuming that vengeance is going to be the pve seal well have some extra expertise which is nice, but the double dmg is gonna be less than the crits that we have now, so to even that out do we need shitloads of crit % now or what?

    Only change will be the need for less expertise. With the talent in the holy tree, Seals of the Pure, thats also another 15% damage on that seal//judge. Its going to be hitting pretty high in PvE.

    then it would be even more important to be higher even on dmg than we are now,
    what im looking for is one of those maths geeks who can tell me what the str = dps and crit = dps change will be

    People need to stop assuming that seals of the pure will remain unchanged.

    "Furthermore, assume that talents, glyphs or set bonuses that affect any impacted abilities will also be changed accordingly."

    Then the official patch notes came out and there were some glyph changes, but none to talents, we're just assuming based on what they have currently placed us at.

    Currently its
    Fills the Paladin with holy power, causing attacks to apply Holy Vengeance, which deals [(0.013 * SPH + 0.025 * AP) * 6] additional Holy damage over 15 sec. Holy Vengeance can stack up to 5 times. Only one Seal can be active on the Paladin at any one time. Lasts 30 min.

    Unleashing this Seal's energy will deal [1 + 0.22 * SPH + 0.14 * AP] Holy damage to an enemy, increased by 10% for each application of Holy Vengeance on the target.
    Not sure what it will become though.

    right ive just done some maths myself right.

    this is from my personal reccordings so dont look too closely at it.

    first of all crusader strike

    now: 139% wp dmg, 6 sec cd = 4x139=556% (at 24 seconds)
    then: 95% wp dmg, 4 sec cd = 6x95= 570% (at 24 seconds)

    difference is 14/24 = 0.58% dmg increase per second.

    2ndly the seal, assuming you take seals of the pure the normal dmg is the same as it is now

    But, on crits it deals double dmg (x2) instead of the (X1.5) we got atm.
    thus

    SoM= 48% wp dmg x 1.5 on crits = 72%
    SoV= 48% wp dmg x 2 on crits = 98%
    thus a 24% difference

    now to my stats:

    9% of my total dmg is seal crits
    so 9x.24= 2.16% dmg increase

    any mistakes? your right :O
    right i didnt know it wasnt a %, thank you for pointing that out.

    your maths is terrible (other things wrong besides what i highlighted)
    now: 110% wp dmg +27% from tallents, 6 sec cd = 4x137=448% (at 24 seconds)
    you made it even worse.

    and just to make it clear:

    it would be 110*1.1*1.15 = ~139% weapon damage
    and 75*1.1*1.15 = ~95% weapon damage

    you don't just add percentages.
