Heir Loom Items

Just a quick question.

I have some horde and alliance characters on 2 differen PVP servers.

I've not brougt any heir loom items yet, but thinking about it soon to level up some of my lowers.

If I was to buy them on my alliance character can they be transfered to another server and another faction?

Just curious since the items say 'Account bound'

Can only send them to characters to which you can mail items.  So if you want to get it to another server you would have to buy it then pay blizz to transfer the toon to another server.  No cross faction.
