Heirloom Weapon - help please!!!

I can't decide which is better to get, Reforged Truesilver Champion http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44092 or Bloodied Arcanite Reaper http://www.wowhead.com/?item=42943.

At 80 - the RTC has 27 more str but 38 less topend damage, while the BAR has 68 crit strike ratings and 38 more topend damage. I have the stone keeper's shard to get the sword, but I would need to grind for another 40 badges to get the axe. Grinding is not a biggie, but I'm just wondering which is better.

I realized that at 80 I won't be using these weapons, but I just don't know what to get for leveling a paladin from scratch.

Edit: I also get 3 expertise by using a sword -> human.

Arcanite Reaper.

The Reforged Truesilver Champion was designed for PVP twinks, hence the resilience. If you're planning to level with the weapon, then the reaper is what you need. All that crit strike will help kill mobs quicker, meaning easier levelling.

I just thought that the 3 expertise and more str would make up for the useless Resilience while leveling and equate to the crit rating.

BAR is also slower == more CS/DS dmg

Arcanite reaper, once u get CS, you tear through mobs so quickly.

For a paladin the axe is somewhat better so gogo

If your looking for the best weapon, and do not care about looks or preference for weapon (sword vs axe) the BAR is the way to go.

For me aesthetics play a factor and I would go with the 2H Sword I just don't like the idea of a Paladin with an Axe. And considering it is something I would be looking at for a lot of levels..

just a note for the future high end top damage tends to be better than higher dps cause of blood, Cd, DS etc scaling off those opposed to hammer of the righteousness scaling off dps

Which makes BoH better than, say, the Jawbone, even when you loose about 26 or so AP.

You also can't use HotR with 2 handers :P

BAR is a 3.8 which the absolute sex for a melee dps.
