At first i wanted to shut up, coz i'm in the first category, but then i rememberd that cause of dumbasses like you i am being treated like crap even though i outperform T8s in my Naxx 10 gear ( on my alt ).

This way of thinking leads to the similar by concept ' grandfather paradox' ( which here can be called the "achievement paradox" ) in which a player cannot enter VoA w/o achievement but cannot get achievement if he cannot enter it and the cycle repeats.

Answers to the question "ok so how do i get achievement if i can't get into VoA? " are replied in the usual monkey inteligent way.

oh and the lastline about T8 made LOL so hard i almost fel off the chair. Tell me something...if i go to VoA ( where T8 and T8.5 drop ) in full T8 or T8.5 gear - wtf am i doing there? We all know the answer now do don't we?

As any good pug leader u r some dumbass in blues that dreams to T8 asap on the work of others and will only accept "Link 'Epic' and Achievement or no invite!"
This behavior spreads to naxx also andit has become so wide-spread that as a T8.5 fully Ulduar heared i was questioned " do u reallycan heal in this heroic? link me achievement!!" ( yeah i am a healer )

So before u jump at ppl in low gear and brag how good u r for being babysitted by 24 pplin your guild while u were afk watching the football game and epics flew your way,stop, and think:
1. not all lvl 80s that ding come with epic sets.
2. u were once that way -no mattter WHAT gear u got now, u WERE at some point in same junk gear.

I said at the begining if u r a pro at playing in ur blues this post is not for you. idk what groups ur running with but they sound fail. i could give 2 shits about linking the achievment. i pay attention to the performance of the people in the raid. if ur in blue and you rocking the charts ima keep ya. but if ur in blues and your kicking the crap out of the guy in Ulduar gear ima boot him.

Yes but then I used the money I got questing to buy myself some decent gear. Or if it happened to be my mage/pally, I used my professions to build something. It is NOT hard to go mining/skinning/farm cloth. You make a ton of money leveling from just 70-80.

Did you not read my full post? Obviously not, I'm not saying I'm hot shit. I'm saying that you shouldn't be in lvl 68 greens with an S1 weapon when you first hit 80. I'll say it AGAIN, YOU MAKE A SHIT TON OF GOLD LEVELING JUST FROM 70-80! USE IT! Yes I did say that we all were there at one point, but you cannot expect 24 other people from a pug wanting to carry you. Is that hard to understand? So what if you got kicked out of a VoA group as a fresh level 80, you'll probably find one that will take you in. There's plenty of groups for VoA. And a player who goes out with his friends but nerd rages because he got kicked out of a VoA group wearing nothing but greens and blues is just as bad as a player who researches the game. It means he obviously cares enough about the game to actually nerdrage over it. Saying that they have a life has no meaning in this argument.

I try to help some of the newer players that I come across. Sh1t, I remember when I was leveling as (what I thought was) feral back in vanilla only to realize that you actually have to put points INTO feral to be considered a 'feral' druid. All my points in balance did not help my bear tanking abilities. It wasn't until someone kind explained it to me which lead me to read more about my class. He could've said, L2Pnub and kicked me from the group but he didn't and I am thankful for that.

WoW lacks this mindset nowadays and it's a shame. General/Trade/whatever is just like barrens chat with constant flaming and almost zero helpful replies. If more people were like Pheonixis I think the game would be alot better, but thats my opinion.

I also play on Mal'Ganis, the cesspool of WoW servers which doesn't help. I feel bad for new players rolling on mal'ganis, it's like being the only nerd in an all jock school.
