Alliance Priest - Which Race?

I'm doing a faction swap for my priest when it comes out, got sick of the BE Female.
What Alliance race should I pick?

Depends if you are focusing on PVE or PVP and your spec.

Dranei is good for the extra hit and the free HoT

Humans have a little extra base spirit which is good for priest and have EMFH which is awesome at any time, especially in PvP

NE has Shadowmeld for when you need to drop combat/drop threat momentarily while the tank builds more up

Dwarf...can find treasure...whoo...and stoneskin if you PvP a lot.

I would recommend Human or Dranei

it depends on what spec you play i'd say.

If you go for Shadow i would pic Draenei female. they have awesome mindflay and casting animation concidering dmg spells.

Playing a healing priest i'd go for female dwarfs with long hair preferably. their "pony tails" fly around when they cast a spell.

Human male - Cast animation suck imho
Dwarf male - Same here
Draenei male - C'mon... arnold schwarzenegger wearing a dress....
Night elf male - ........ NO! dont!

NE female - Well- i*ve seen better nothing really great.
Human Female - not bad but i've seen better ( they shake their shoulders back and forward casting a spell )


But if you mean to choose the race by viability ( pvp / pve ) then i recommend

Draenei pve shadow ( +hit )
Human pve holy ( additional Willpower )

Human pvp shadow
NE pvp holy

I'm thinking either Draenei or Night Elf, Night Elf for Shadowmeld, and Draenei because they're one of my favorite races appearance-wise.
Female anyways, the males are terribad.

I would personally go Dwarf but I guess if you originally played a female blood elf, we might not exactly have the same priorities.

There's only 1 correct way to choose - pick DORF.

Basicly horde hav a lot of cool races but in ally it is like:

wanna be a warrior? Pick dorf
wanna be a hunter? Pick dorf
wanna be a priest? Pick dorf
wanna be paladin? Pick dorf


For me dorfs ar only reason why I am playing alliance.

If "coolness" and looks are your game, then have at it by your personal taste.

Its either that or /waggle for me.

Night elf because if you suck at healing at least you can shadowmeld and rez the rest of the group after the wipe.

I would also recommend human.

extra 10% rep gain is small but noticeable, non trinket CC remover is awesome even more in PvE then PvP and 3% extra on a priest´s most valuable stat is also a nice bonus.

Just asking real quick, when you change your faction, can you change your gender as well?

But I would clearly not chose that. I would chose the char for the looks and animation.

I'm torn between Draenei for awesome looks,
and human for racials.
And NE's for Shadowmeld I guess but I'm not a fan.
