Well I've played around with my own sigs for a while, but simply could not achieve what I wanted (partially due to lack of good background art as well as fonts). I created my toon in model viewer and took a .png snapshot that you can work with if you like or if you get an inspiration from somewhere else feel free to run with it.

The only text I care to include is my name and guild name. A somewhat bold font would look best I think.

As far as the background goes I was trying to find something with a shaman feel to it. I am enhancement all the way so would love to see windfury (maybe spirit wolves) incorporated in some manner. I love the greyscale colors as well as the darker reds/greens/blues. I would prefer for my character to be colored. I also like the look of the characters not fitting perfecting in a box, but instead extending past the boundaries of the signature a little bit (looks really good with our shoulders ).

So, after having a look at this thread for a while, i even got myself a sig (Thanks Daveyjones!) but i want to start making my own sigs. I've downloaded a test-version of PS, and i'll buy it if things works out.
So could a kind soul direct me to a good tutorial to learn the basics, and the advanced things of photoshop, and i'll be really happy, and i might ending up helping you with the sigs in this thread

first of all keep your awesome jobs up, you're all doing great.
Now for my request, I play a
Bloodelf Holy Paladin named "Lumpur"
and an UD Warlock named "Despair"
and I would like to have a forum sized signature with a Darkness / Light Theme
because of the Dark 'lock and the Light Paladin if you know what I mean
the equip would be nice if it would be the T8 for the Warlock and the T2 for the Paladin
but you might use anything you want if think it would fit better.

I'd prefer to not have the helm shown and instead have the tauren face with the same or similar features that my character's face has (screenshots below). I'd like to see him standing in the tauren attack animation if at all possible. If you don't like that idea and would prefer to do something else with the background I wouldn't object. Have fun with it.

I was wanting to have something done like this (http://i795.photobucket.com/albums/y...adyxx/Dk14.jpg) and this (http://hdimage.org/images/krl9ik5aeuy6ujjts8re.jpg), something dark with a evil looking background. Just showing the head and shoulders of the shaman, or however the creator seems fit. For the text, i would like to have it be be EnkorE, but the last E is flipped around facing the other way, and have the Guild name and server underneath it. I am only really picky about how the name looks. For the color, i think a black background with a sorta neon colors mixed in with the other things would look sick!

Hello. First of all, thanks to all of you guys doing this, I've seen a lot of amazing work here, hence my coming to you. I'm wondering if someone can help design two things for me. One is the banner on my guild website. Here is a link to it:


I want to add that this banner has to stay the same size for it to work properly on our website: www.resguildtn.com The dimensions are 894px × 218px

I was looking at the work Coldheart and Caiti did in their signatures, and was wondering if you can take the banner I currently have, and work your magic on it. My wow model viewer wouldn't let me add Tier 8.5 so all of our toons look like they're rocking regular Tier 8. I was looking for something along the lines of the guild name, Resurrection. Mess with the theme and do what you do, or PM me any questions. I would like to have a few of the same characters that are on the current picture in any new design with tier 8.5 as they are all wearing it. The font used is VTKS Revolt, you can get it here http://www.dafont.com/vtks-revolt.font and I would prefer that the font on the logo stay the same, but feel free to make it look as you please.
