Since there is a lot of requests with too little info, I decided to put together a template with instructions and examples for requesting.
Also, I did it because if Somnio likes it he might add it to the firstpage of this thread and that would mean MASSIVE epeen for me :P Note that this is also usable for PM Requests, not just the thread.

What your request MUST include:

[Name]: "Dkarthaas" Self explanatory, no? You might not even want your name in the sig, then state so the first thing you do.
[Race]: "Orc"
[Gender]: "Female"
[Class]: "Death Knight"
[Gear]: "Valorous Bonescythe Battlegear with the axe Trollbane. No helm please." There is no random button in WoW Model Viewer. Even if it were, you wouldn't like it. Be specific with your gear, names are needed. If you want a tierset, preferably use the name of the set. Wowhead.com is a good way to get the exact names of things. Using your current gear because "that's how you look" is not a good idea. Look at the models at Wowhead and pick something you think looks good.
[Hairstyle/Hornstyle]: "http://www.Screenshot-To-MY-Character.jpg" We are not mindreaders. You need to secify how your character looks. A zoomed in screenshot of your character is the best way to get it right. Another way is to use http://www.wowwiki.com/Barbershop_interface. This is however not available for every race. If you use wowwiki please include the link to that page.

What your request SHOULD include:

[Extras]: "I'd like something light and happy. Preferably with bunnies if possible." This is where you vent out your ideas about your signature to be. This could be anything from colortheme, to ideas for poses (certain abilities makes horrible ideas, unless the artist is very much familiar with the class), to extra text or backgrounds.


What your request COULD include (Not necessary, but some want it in their Sig):

[Server/Realm]: "Dragonblight-EU" Phrase it like "Server"-"Location". Dragonblight-EU and Aggamaggan-US are examples.

That's all from me. If you add all this, I consider you have spent some time on your request. If you spend a little more time on making a request, you are not only going to get a better signature, you are also going to get a much happier response from the artists in this thread.

Sorry for going on about the bunny theme, but I found it kinda funny mixing a DK with bunnies ;P Please tell me if I missed something, like spelling and such. If it's unreadable due to Red on top of Beige, I'll change it.

Your request is good, Though it can go wrong, "Grand horns" can be identified in various different ways.
and there are several tone's Light Blue.
Therefore, Its just way and way much handier to make a screenie.
this will save the Artist much time and it makes sure your character actually looks the same.

For the font and the position of my name and quotation i have no clue, except that they should be in contrast with the background.

otherwise it isnt a must that you include how your char looks like, most people, especially boys^^, arent so picky how the char looks, or they want the helm to be shown

what i think should included is the size if the sig is not for mmo, because much people ask me to make it bigger for other forums, but i'm so bad at making it bigger

Gear: The out of form druid is wearing full T10 Purple in colour preferably, with the "Illumination staff with 81 spell power chant" (Chant if possible)
Colours: Something along the lines of a mid to dark green mixed with a black, Almost in the effect of shattered glass.
Layout: Myself, in tree form casting a spell (Long cast Ie Healing touch, Nourish ect) In the for-ground, and in the back, myself again out of form casting moonfire (i dont want the spell just the motion with the hands please) with a subtle hint of transparency. The out of form druid should have some of its body covered by the Tree formed druid.

Font: Something with dark, eery, gritty feel too it. or Artist choice.

First of all, I think it's great that people starts using this template. I'm really happy to see that people are using it.

There are helms though that are open, or atleast show a part of the head. Priest t8, Cloth t9 horde for example. I included it so that people will not forget to add it.

The reason why I included Guild (AND Server) as optional (making a big notice on it being optional) is because no matter how much we are going to say that it's not really a good idea to have Guild names on the sig, people are still going to want it.
