Longest wsg you had?

Before the epic nerf to how long wsg can last, i had fun last night and just held the flag with a buddy of mine, We got bored and wanted to do some av so we caped it O.O

Mine lasted like an hour and 15 minutes, Ill add the pic when I get home, but we got almost the same honor that you did on 2 hours even tho we lost, so kinda waste of time in the end, but got some fun defending like hell.

I don't have the screen shot anymore but my 49 twink and some buddies from my twink guild drew out a wsg for nearly 4 hours. I landed nearly 1.5 mil damage and over close to 1k honorable kills it was epic.

WSG shouldn't last longer than an hour if you are doing it right. If it does then obviously people were more interested in farming HKs midfield.

That being said my lasted match was 1hr and 30min :P

I had a massivly long one, well over 1.5 hours but I kept leaving, each time I rejoined I got sent back to the same one

Probably about an hour for mine. Alliance on ruin battlegroup is awful and normally gets storm through in 15 min.

Off topic but anyone else notice the hunter led in healing done?

I've joined games that were over 3.5 hours on Rampage but that was back at 70 before the 25% and 50% etc damage increase debuff... for some reason our battlegroup has people join bgs then just leave when another bg queue pops so nothing ever gets done.

Also we had another match where this rogue used rocket boots with the flag and landed on top of the horde rejuv hut and sat there for over 2 hours since the horde team couldn't get this flag from 3 resto druids a resto sham 2 holy pallies and a disc priest. When you get that many healers and very few dps, and they ALL stand in their flag room games can get way out of control.

Can't wait for the new system 20 mins and thats a wrap for wsg.


I won't even mention PTR wsg's since no one goes for the flag on the PTR.

I don't know about length of game, but a few weeks ago I won my first WSG in 150 goes over the last 4 years (or when ever WSG started).

People LOLed as the achievement came up...

Once I did a premade with my old guild, our goal being to purposefully turtle and make the game last forever. I think we got it to go for about 8 hours. Now I know some of you yawn at that but it was REALLY fun, especially the people I played with - lots of great laughs and great pwnage!

Had a few AV's where I've afk'd out, went to sleep and entered the same AV the day after. Ah those where the days

either we get completely over run or we pwn with no merci; I have never been in any long WSG fights, but I also leave if I don't think we will make it in the next 5-10 mins

Almost 2 hrs, the worst is that we were loosing 2-0 and alliance was holding the last flag but we managed to get it back and win 3-2. Legendary wsg .

Don't know which is my longest wsg, but got one ~1h few weeks ago and few ~2h months ago. Will be missing long WSGs in 3.2.
