A hardcore raiding guild that is well-established in many aspects. Converge takes pride in its past accomplishments and constantly thrives for new ones. It was and still is the home of many great World of Warcraft players, with a group of core members that have kept the guild running since the launch of TBC and we still fight for the top ranks on our realm. We have since cleared all content in game including Ulduar in a little over a week.
Converge encourages a focused yet relaxed raiding atmosphere where members are encouraged to interact with the classleaders, officers and other members. We try our best to make sure each player amongst our ranks is being treated fairly, and we also tend to evaluate members often as to make sure they’re earning their raid spot. We believe in group synergy and aim to achieve it, but we also believe in brain synergy and we constantly seek players who have it.
On the social aspect, you’ll find Converge to be a very friendly guild, with members from all around the world. We believe in the power of humor and sarcasm, and we are very aware that in the end, this is only a game. Melodramatic situations are heavily frowned upon, yet we know they are sometimes inevitable.
About you:
Now that we have cleared the easier Hardmode Bosses in Ulduar we turn our attention to the 3 Hardest Hardmode achievements. We believe it won't take us long to have these hard-modes on farm too, and we'd love to have you to assist us through that journey assuming you meet the following criteria.
We expect you to:
- Have a high attendance, all members should aim for staying above 85% attendance.
- Always be prepared to raid as your spec and any potential offspec you may have with all necessary consumables.
- Focus during raids.
- Have some fairly decent social skills and approach this [i]game with some distance.
- Be able to understand and speak English.
- Be able to raid from 19.45-00.00 (Sun-Thu) and longer if necessary.
- Be willing to use Ventrilo and speak when needed.
- Know all aspects of your class. Do not bother to apply if you find yourself confused about the basics of your class.
- Have solid raiding experience, preferably with experience from vanilla wow and TBC.
- Have adequate gear to raid the latest raid instances.
- Understand that PvE is hard. Sometimes there is fire, do not stand in it.
We raid 4-5 hours a day 5-6 days a week, depending on the content at hand - Usually starting from around 19:45 to 0:00. We use a DKP system that ensures fairness and a loot council in the rare cases where it is needed.
