AoE Tank Threat Macro?

I'm trying to make a macro. What I want it to do is cast Thunder Clap and Shockwave whenever they are off cooldown, and when they are on cooldown, cast cleave. I'd like it to also cast demo shout whenever it's off cooldown, but it seems like it may be more practical to set a class timer bar for the debuff and cast it when it's getting low.

I'm not experienced in macro designing at all, could someone help me please?

Hm you lagg in raids and you honestly believe that you could macro warrior aoe tanking.
I get an idea why your guild leader doesn't want you in his raids.

On topic: You cannot macro warrior aoe tanking.
If you tried you would miss most mobs with your shockwave and cast demo shout every other gcd till you're out of rage cause you're spamming cleave.

Get decent interface addons that show you your TC/SW cooldowns and your debuff uptime.
Bind cleave/HS to your mousewheel and l2p.

If I assume this above is one macro then it would be quite horrible for tanking. You don't use Revenge, Concussion Blow or Shockwave and you would permanently spam Heroic Strike and Rend.

You're misunderstood........I just shorten my bars by adding some (shown above) in a simple macro.
I use Heroic Strike a lot through my rotation so it keeps rend up at the same time >.< same with Devastate

but if spam rend, you clip your ticks, in the long run you lose more instead of just watching the timer and pressing the key at the last second before it drops.

The thing with a macro, is that everything is on long cooldowns besides cleave.

Demo is GCD but you only want to cast every 30 seconds or so, shockwave is 20 seconds is 6 seconds.

Make sure you have the sunder another target glyph, and you have devastate you can throw in that little fest as well. You can macro Devastate and cleave together so only one button press, and maybe cast sequence shockwave, demo shout, so you can press that twice to get both. OTher then that, there really is no viable way to do it unless you want to do a cast random sequence which should only really be used by new tanks in crap instances =/

Sadly, you'll be suboptimal if you macro AOE threat.

Things you should keep in mind when AOE tanking is that shieldblock helps AOE threat (Damage shield), shockwave burned early on the pull but make sure you take some damage first, therefor I suggest you open with thunderclap, wait a few seconds to get rage, then shockwave.

Tabtarget and abuse cleave, throw in shieldslams and revenges on the targets your singeltarget DPS'ers are hitting, and keep thunderclap/shockwave on cooldown until the pull is over.
