    Feral tank stats

Ey, ive been resto pretty much always, recently gathered some tank gear: so my question is how much dodge/hp I should have for naxx10/25?

Im sitting at 31,5k in bear(with motw on) and 37,69 dodge.

    Re: Feral tank stats

life seems fine, I'm sitting selfbuffed at 33,3k life in bear form with mostly ulduar gear (no BiS/hardmodes, but ulduar drops at least). Im getting raidbuffed up to 45k life (flask, food, shout, fortitude, kings). so your 31k life selfbuffed in bear should end up at ~40k life raidbuffed at least. and this is just fine, even for naxx25.

dodge I cant say exactly, but due to buffs (kings, food) this should go up a bit as well. then you should be around 40k life and 40% dodge +/- 1k/1%.

an armory link would be better to tell if you're ready for naxx 25, but with those (very small) information you gave, I'd say you'd do just fine as tank in naxx25.

well I did tank emalons adds last night, had 38k hp with kings&fort, It just seems weird as im still using couple of PvP items as theyre the best I got, and ive gemmed mostly stam(from what ive heard i should be gemmin agi?) and missing few enchants.

Thats plenty. I've tanked it with less of both. Heck i tank it in my dps gear which gives me only 27-28k health with 44% or so dodge. Those stats are fine for Naxx 10/25 and Ulduar 10 along with some bosses on Ulduar 25.

Raid buffed I have 40,000 life and 46.98% dodge without procs. Im tanking Ulduar right now with ease. You shouldn't have a problem at all in Naxx.

Guess I have to believe it then, I just keep forgetting naxx is a fuckn joke these days. I remember reading that I should be gemming agility, is this correct or should i stick with stam gems?

Well a good rule of thumb I go by is work for stam until you have 30k hp self buffed in bear, then after that work for as much AGI and Dodge rating as you can. Stamina good for taking a hit but AVOIDING the hit is far far better.

Gemming for agi is great for three things:

+dodge: increases dodge rating so you avoid more damage
+armor: more agi means your armor is higher which means for every hit you take, you take less damage
+crit: with Savage Defense, the more you crit the more damage you mitigate (that's in very VERY broad strokes)

Ahh, I always love Agility fan boys, and feed on their tears when they can't take Algalon's Big Bang.

Aye thanks for the fast replies, I guess ill be replacing some of the stam gems when i get new bracers and +40stam on them. I just don´t see algalon visiting naxx anytime soon 8)

    Re: Feral tank stats

Elduir's point was more that for newer content(Ulduar at least) Stam is kings as healing through normal hits is usually a joke. its teh 32k damage per second undodgeable hits you have to worry about. And don't worry about being a mana sponge we would be over healing you more if you had less health. trust me closing in on 50% avoidance is plenty.

You have the druid/death knight tanking concept well summed up. Avoid damage where able (usually a lot of it), and soak the rest.

Yeah i´ve heard alot about ulduar requiring huge amount of hp for the big hits, but me myself im not gonna tank ulduar in a while

hehe, its just that I was tanking in voa for the first time last night, tanked emalons adds and a shammyhealer went oom healing me, eventho I can assume he was in blues as he was the onlyone who got achievement for killing emalon

Ahh, I always love stamina fan boys, when they give advice to someone regarding content they won't see in the next 3 years.
    [/sarcasm]

since the OP asked for naxx 10/25, it is bullshit to quasi-say "agility is fucked up because you cant take algalon's big bang"
You may be right, I'm not close to algalong by far right now, but I'm/we are currently progressing at yoggsaron. and as long as I had my first epic item out of naxxramas, I didn't gemmed stamina anymore. (at the beginning in blues, stamina was a little better, since 23k life raidbuffed was not that great :>). I gemmed agility all the way, and guess what? It worked. It worked perfectly. and it will still work perfectly even in coliseum. coliseum 25 hardmode may be the point again, when stamina starts to shine. maybe, I don't know. but I bet close to everything, that coliseum 25 normal mode will not require to stack stamina.

Because Algalon is a Naxxramas boss, AMIRITE?

    Situational troll is situational.

Ontopic: yes, you're fine for both Naxx10 and 25. Go kick some Lich's butt now!
