Seeking guidance with gear

I recently bought 12 Runed Orbs and got the Belt of the Titans crafted for my Ret paladin and was wondering what to do with the other 6 runed orbs i have. I automatically assumed that i should get the Battlelord's plate boots but after downloading Rawr, it said that the Boots of Living Scale (mail) or Footpads of Silence (leather) are better than the plate ones. I was hoping for a more definitive response as to which item is the best (or whether i should stick to Greaves of Iron Intensity). I'm sorry if this is too vague a question or that no one has an answer, this is my first real post on this forum so please don't be too brutal.
