[A-PST]<Casual>#41 US LF Paladin/Spriest/Hunter/Mage
Casual a well-established (Feb 2005) guild on Hyjal PvE server that has currently ranked in the top 50 US with Ulduar clear and 3/5 Coliseum (waiting on new encounters to open up is the suck). We raid Sun-Thurs from 6pm-10pm PST (Server) but we get days off according to how fast we clear everything . We will never increase our raid times (20 hours per week) to try to race other guilds.
We are a guild of mostly mature adult men. Most of us have jobs and other commitments (binge drinking, **!#ing %%@@!s, reading, watching movies etc) and we aren't interested in increasing our raid time because it would likely decrease our time to do those other things. When we raid, we raid efficiently and effectively. We are hardly @!@%s about raiding. Mostly our raid vent and guild chat is used to discuss non-wow related things such as affairs with married women, getting your girlfriend pregnant, binge drinking, and other topics. We are looking for highly skilled players that have a good sense of humor, want to progress, and won't burn out or quit the first time they get to second base with a girl. If you want to raid 30+ hours a week, we are not the guild for you.
Female gamers that can hang with us are of a very special breed, but they do exist. I should also warn you: if you do not have a sick sense of humor or cannot take the occasional (okay, frequent) racist or sexist joke, then you should not apply to our guild. It's like Lord of the Flies in here, only less same-sex awkwardness, or more. Your mileage may vary.
Please, please, please for the love of the sweet black baby jesus, put some time and effort into your app. If you write with the mental capacity of a down's syndrome gibbon, we will not bother responding to your app.
Many of us are also extremely active in arenas and pvp. We finished last season ranked among the top 30 guilds in the world for pvp by arenajunkies, and always seek to improve upon this when it's convenient. Thus, Strong raiders that are also strong pvpers have a high likelihood of being accepted.
We are currently looking for the following: (Exceptional apps from all classes will be considered)
Spriest - DPS, lots of it, we have one that can do it well, we want another one, but apparently this is difficult? Paladin - I have a spot for a Prot paladin, especially one with a strong ret offspec. I may also have room for a holy paladin on the roster. Feral - Mainly DPS, but you better be willing and capable of tanking if needed. Hunter - ##%% trains. 6-7k dps worth of them. Mage - Fireball is hard! honestly though, don't suck at this.
As a side note: The scientific term for our current players is "assbeat." We're really looking for top notch players who are tired of dominating their guilds' respective meters, and are looking for a challenge as we continue through raiding content.
We use a tiered content DKP system that ensures new members will never get screwed by an insurmountable gap between the new and old members.
For any questions, feel free to ask Videl(Can also be on Odiodin) in game. Send a PM to (Videl) on our boards with your application once it is completed. From there I will post it on our internal forums where we will evaluate your application and then set up a time for your vent interview. Most of the time we can figure out what kind of person you are in about 5 min of talking to you on vent, but some interviews last quite a bit longer depending on our need for your class. After the vent interview, we will make a decision based on the interview and your app and get back to you within a few days. Truly outstanding applicants won't wait nearly as long to hear back from us.
