my lock UI...plus 306 fps...what!!

No clue what my FPS is but its probably over 40 in that pic btw my AA and AF are both at 16x via nvidia control panel. (You can tell the difference in quality)

60 fps is not the max, you are able to limit your FPS to a maximum though for a more consistent game play. Honestly I don't think anything past 30 fps is needed during a raid. I do not notice a difference from 30 fps and 120 fps during raids. When I dip down to the low 20's I do notice a bit of lag for spells and such.

Ugly UI, high MB usage (Nearly 30MB!), you are looking at a wall, you have settings down pretty damned low.


I have an old rig, but its still pretty good. In a 25man raid, with settings up to /console max settings, I have ~30FPS, which is playable. I can get ~300 if I turn shit down and look at a wall.

Nothing amazing at all... All you've done is installed addons. The only thing you've changed is the buttons on your Bartender. As for the 306 FPS... Shoopdawoop my friend can get 1000+ on low settings, don't think there was really much reason to mention it on a post primarily about your UI.

If looking at a wall with all possible detail turned down and low resolution is how you measure this then I have 500+ fps

If he lives on teh east coast, that ms he can't do anythign about. Since nearly all of blizzards US servers are stationed in California, that means that his ms will always be above 100 for the most part.

fyi some people live upto 13000 k's from the servers they play on. 249 MS is good for anyone living in New Zealand/Australia (~3-400) is average)because our closest server is allll the way across the pacific ocean in America.
