So I tried lvlin' yesterday in AV....

A few facts;

Lose time : 15-20 Min
Win time : 10-15 Min

AV lvl : 71-80

Win EXP : 120 k - 150 k
Lose EXP : 60 k


Total games : 13
Total wins : 11
Total losses : 2

Total time in bgs : 179 min (not counting the queue since I quested during downtimes)

Total EXP : 1'505'000
Doing the quests in AV = EXP aswell! ( In my calcs I didn't do quests)

Questing will pretty much always be the fastest way to level, but this is at least killing 2 birds with one stone, honor and exp at once. if I was tired of questing for the night, i would maybe slip into a BG or 2 for some fun and exp, but you dont get anywhere near the gold/items/exp as doing instances or questing.

Hmm let's say each quest gives 23k EXP ( since they give 20-25 k )

500/23= 23ISH

You'll need to do 23 quests/h to get 500 k Exp

Or 1 quest each 2.6 min... But keep in mind you get EXP aswell when you kill mobs!

Will try AV tonight but WG gave around 20K XP in total for a win. Isle of Conquest was only about 15K XP in the BG where we lost.

only thing thats abit annoying is eventhough u get XP in the Bg's, My hunters pet doesnt

It scales with level as well. I started a new toon who is in his 30's now. He only has access to WSG and AB. WSG is bad because you get exp based on how many flags your team caps. With the 20 minute rule you can play a 20 minute game with 1 cap. Very very bad exp. Also if you are on a BG where the opposite faction dominates and you might only win 25% of the time it is even worse.

The positive though is that as you are questing you can do the odd battleground and build up 100 of each mark. when you hit 80 you will have a nice jump in to real PvP and ou get exp.

From what others have told me the higher level you are the better the exp.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the exp scales per level. I did a few AV and got 2 bars on average per win, and 1/2 a bar on average per loss. I did not do any quests.

I did mine at lvl 75. Team got 6K XP for a flag capture in WG. Waste of time really. AV seems to be the way to go.

So question for OP.. Have they reduced the time it takes to win/loose an AV match or was that just your average for the night? On my server if you get in and out of an AV (well before patch) in that amount of time you did some shit either very well or very wrong and got smeared.

I am working on another 80 and hes 74 last night, a break that is still productive would be wonderful lol.

My average was 13+- min/game. We won almost every game though ( as you can see above )
