Best money making professions for a mage?

Leveling my mage up, wondering what the best money making professions would be at 80. Still mining/jc?

If you're looking for straight money, you probably want mining/herbalism.

log, transmute your epic gem with master transmuter, do the JC daily all in 5 mins for something like 300g and go raid :P

If you do a lot of PvE and get drops then Enchanting might be worth it. I don't PvE anymore tho and its basically just sitting there doing nothing but makes it convenient for enchants on myself, alts, or DE'ing if it ever comes up. That and i leveled it when it was harder to level is why i don't plan on changing it. Otherwise i wouldn't recommend it too much.

I used to AOE farm at Icecrown, not the spot that got nerfed, but theres a really easy spot near there(it has steps) where the mobs spawn fast, and 2 sections you can pull from where its almost nonstop. Only downside is if someone else is there you won't have enough mobs without waiting. It was the best place i found, but people will try and fight you for the spot also.

I hate farming mobs for money though. Now i just transmute and play the AH. I made like 1k gold on 3.2 overnight overpricing everything i had and putting it up on the AH 8)
