    3.2 Raiding pet (MM/SV)

So since the launch of 3.2 i've noticed a dps increase in my cat and think i remember reading something about them buffing rake anybody know if this is true and if not are there any pets that can be used besides a wolf?

    Any info will be appreciated

Good question... Just checked the 3.2 spreadsheet and sadly, cat still appears to be doing a bit lower DPS (~10 dps for me) than wolf. Besides, cats have no furious howl... which is a nasty dps loss in itself already. Sad, really. Personally, I'm tired of everyone running around with the same model wolf.

It's really up too you on which pet you bring to the raid, seeing that atleast 3 pets do the same amount of dps.
Beeing it Cat, Raptor or Wolf.

Wolf is the only one who boost YOUR dps, and the main reason it's used atm.
And besides the old wolf models are way cooler then the new ones.

There is no reason to bring anything other than a wolf :-\

    Just bring what you want -.-;

Until they make a physically appealing wolf, people can bite me, and I'll stick to my pink tallstrider :P

Besides, making raid bosses miss with a big hit every 40 seconds is fun

Cunning can be good if you have serious mana problems(shouldn't really) for that mana regen crap... Wolf WOlf Wolf Wolf everyone has said it.... Cunning is decent for the mana return, but VERY rarely do you EVER need it

I always raid with a wolf, but for dungeons I use what I feel like and bird (Aotona) in pvp.

I've grown rather fond of my wolf... But if I even get around to camping Takk the Leaper for the Leaping hatchling I'll pull out my Takk pet I've had since lvl 19 and play around with him.

I just wish Saphira(The dragonhawk) Was useful in more fights than just Yogg-saron

    ...........

    L2 Wasp!

5% armor decrease on the target, it benefits the whole raid a lot more.

Doesn't stack with FF sadly and most raids will have a feral druid

If i ever have a chance to fly to France, i will do so with my only intention being to find you Boub and give you a hug for being so awesome ^_^ <3

That's one of the classes that strangely seem to be missing in most of my guilds raids. Along with fury warriors (I'm usually the only one, if I'm not tanking), and also in this category of missing classes are warlocks of all kinds.

But that's what call stabled pet is for, if you have one, you use a wolf, and if you don't you call your wasp and make all the physical DPS love you long time for how awesome you are.

And what do you think would happen if anything else was the best pet? They'd be running around with the same skins of that pet.

As for me, I have the rare spawn wolf from the Hinterlands. The only other mob he shares a skin with listed on petopia I believe is the random small wolf in Honor Hold for a quest.

If you want a diferent skin for a wolf go to petopia and look it up.
I personly am training a wolf out of the ramparts

    Re: 3.2 Raiding pet (MM/SV)

If you're the type of person that needs that extra DPS in order to get a spot in raid,
by all means; look for a wolf skin that you like, because for right now, they're the "best" you're going to get.

but I've had my King Bangalash since I could tame him, and I've never looked to another pet.
    I love him ^_^
Sometimes, you just have to take personal preference over speadsheets. It is just a game, remember.
