since the entire loot table is out, and all the gear is out in the open, it is easy to see what is BiS and what is not. furthermore, BiS gear is not what you use for progression, it's what is BEST-IN-SLOT

The purpose was that even with middletier gear, the increase in haste and decrease in spirit is very high

Oops, good call. Mistook the fire sets for frostfire.

With how close the stats are you still need to evaluate each item on a case by case basis to optimize your dps, as reflexively going for crit every time will not lead to optimal results.
