5 minute cooldown pvp trinket

Hey, I went searching on the wow forums and mmo forums before askingbut I couldn't find a topic or an answer.

My question is, did they remove the old 5 minute cooldown pvp trinkets? The one for lvl 70 and below? I may have just skimmed over the notes in the past because I played a Human for a very long time and when I had a trinket, my toon was already at 70 and I did no pvp whatsoever during Vanilla wow so I never saw the need to buy it.

I went to the Quartermaster in SW and he only has the lvl 70 and above Insignia or Medallion of the Alliance. Did they remove them from the game? Some IRL friends and I are making toons to lvl mainly through BGs and I'm the only non-Human so they don't have to worry about it. I've seen some others running around with the 5 minute trinket but when I asked them, they said they bought it from the Quartermaster long ago.

I assume they have been removed and are now only avaliable in the 2 minute lvl 70 and lvl 80 form or you have to get it from Wintersgrasp as an Hierloom. Seems kind of wacky they would remove them and only give people access to them as an Heirloom cause that could really make pvp in lower brackets frustrating unless Blizz really wants to emphasize the Human racial.

It's still on the vendor, when you get into the pvp vendors room it's the first one to the left:
