Grid Colour setup.

Hey, I did a search before posting this and I couldn't find the answer I was looking for.

I have been seeing a lot of UIs with grid that looks like this;


I really want my grid to look something like this, I know about hiding the background etc but I really cant see how to turn it black and make the Character names as the class colour.
Also I was wondering how to get the text similar (The default texts don't have anything like that, so im guessing its another grid addon)

Hey Clampy,

Changing the bar and name color is easy. Open the Grid Config and goto...

Grid > Status > Health > Unit Health
Grid > Status > Unit Name

As for the font, I would recommend using the AddOn "SharedMedia". You can find it on Curse. SharedMedia allows you to take nearly any font or texture you find and load it into the game. Any AddOn compatible with SharedMedia (nearly every Ace mod including Grid) will be able to access the fonts and textures you've installed in SharedMedia. SharedMedia comes with instructions on how to use it.

You're on your own to find that font tho! The good news is there are plenty of places to find free fonts. My personal favorite is http://www.dafont.com.

Once you've got your font installed in SharedMedia you again goto the Grid config and goto...

Grid > Frame > Advanced > Font

Btw it looks like that screenshot you posted has a custom texture as well. SharedMedia can take care of that as well.
