Haste: Will also increase the rate at which you gain energy
lol so since out of energy is the biggest dps loss we ferals have atm i gues haste will be the number 1 stats for melee aswel then ;D

I have this king of feeling that the new stat priority for 4.x will be Agility ~ Hit/Exp (til caps) > Crit (enough for a steady rotation) > Haste, so it's still goes "last".
But it will be WAY stronger, that's for sure. Probably tied for first place once you're at your caps and have a decent crit.

as for hit / epx yes ofc we wil stil need those and agi comes from gear

I'm guessing haste will be a bit like mana regeneration is for healers, in that it's something you really want at first, but eventually you'll run into a fuzzy kind of soft cap where having more doesn't really increase your DPS by much, since you already have enough energy to do what you really need to do (keeping roar and debuffs up). After that it's still good to have more (just like healers can use the spare mana to be a bit more generous with healing with less concern for mana efficiency), but it would be better to focus on and gem for other stats.
How important it becomes compared to other stats will of course depend on how much it increases your energy generation by, which is a number that's likely to be tweaked up and down at least fifty times before Cataclysm goes live, and then some more back and forth in every major patch.

Worry about that when Cataclysm hits beta?Originally Posted by getefix

Mastery can be godly or shit, it depends on your talent tree. They said it boosts one of you passive bonuses you get from being deep in a talent tree. Well, that can mean anything. If the "chosen passive bonus" boosts bleed damage it is one thing, if it boosts straightly very melee damage you do, it's a completely different thing.Originally Posted by getefix
We'll see when we know what the bonuses are, and what Mastery will improve.

or something like:
agility increased while in cat or dire bear form by 10% (affects both cat ap and bear dodge)
global cooldown reduced by 0,2 (or whatever, but I think 0.5 would be a little bit OP) seconds. (affects both bear and cat cycle)
leader of the pact provides additional crit chance only for the druid. (or remove the talent itself [and fury warriors rampage, too] and provides it via the mastery, so only the druid benefits from it. and this would affect both cat and bear again.)
go check front page about mastery lol, u are talking about talents not mastery ^^Originally Posted by xebtria
as for Qieth yes thats probely tru we probely get +psysical dmg for bear TPS and cat nukle and +health for srvivability in cat and bear and something else like dmg reduction

Actually, those could very well be masteries. Bonuses to agility and physical crit are simple enough to fit within the mastery concept.Originally Posted by Elunedra
I'm sure Blizzard will figure out good feral masteries that will work with both cats and bears, and design the talents to compliment them.

Haste until energy capped
hit/exp until capped (Seeing as we would now be GCD limited instead of energy limited.)
Agi until crit capped (Assuming we still cant get armor pen. They just said they were removing it from gear, but it will still be in the game)
Crit/str (just here)
haste after cap
Nom Nom Nom [NNF] (2 points) - When you Ferocious Bite a target at or below 25% health, you have a 50/100% chance to instantly refresh the duration of your Rip on the target.

Threat reduced by 15% while in cat form and increased by 15% while in bear form.
Damage increased by 7%
Dodge increased by 4%.

You already have a static -9% threat in cat. Dont get greedy, find cower in your spellbook again
unless out mastey wil end up reducing gcd's then we could be stacking haste for enegery into the infinite lol ;DOriginally Posted by Melonberry

Obviously ferals dependence on bleeds could change but i doubt it since it is their signiture style when you think about it.Haste until energy capped
This being said Extra haste really affects how fast we can get them on and after that it is just being able to fit more Ferocious bites in. I think haste will be more attractive in that it will make feral more forgiving and allow a few more massive FB's but it will not be the most important talent imo. After all you have to wait the same amount of time for your bleed to tick before refreshing(thoguh i dream of dots who tick faster based on haste).
Resto Druids, the best health care system
I hope haste make a big difference in energy regen. Cuz sometimes im sitting (TF CD) and just waiting to push more buttons, but I can't cuz I haz no energy. For his expac, kitty dps was solid, hopefully next xpac will be amazing.
