Hi again from the blackberry man! So thinking about purchasing the t9 helm with my badges, have t8 hands and shouldr pieces, is the helm even worth getting? Or should I save up for the triumph set instead and spend my badegs of conquest elsewhere?

Dont waste triumph badges, get the token from 25m and buy the middle medium tier, or beg a guild to carry you on hardmode and get the hard token

You've got T7.5 gloves and shoulders.

You should definitely buy the T8.5 Chest and Helm for Conquest Badges and use your Triumph badges for T9 Legs which are super sexy for Blood:

If you do all that you'd get T7 2pc bonus for 5% crit to DS (it's ok but not great) you'd get 2pc bonus for T8 as well 8% crit to DC for Blood which is also decent...you'd also gain a healthy dose of armor penetration and AP.

So shoot for 116 Emblem of Conquest and 50 Emblem of Triumph.

Later replace T7.5 gloves with T8.5 from VoA off Emalon and grab the T9 shoulders for 30 more Emblems of Triumph...giving you the T9 2pc bonus to give 180str for 15secs off BS/HS.
