Shamn or Pally PVP healer?

I made this poll in the BG section of the forums. Please either vote there or leave ur opinion here.

I am looking to roll a pvp healer toon and am trying to decide between a Pally and a Shaman. I will be doing both BGs and Arenas.

Shaman are more complicated and wear mail.

Paladin wear plate and have 3 healing spells.

Paladin have blessings, utility, and bubbles.

Shaman have totems, freedom, and bloodlust.

Shaman also have 1/10th the survivability and can be tunnel visioned down by a good rogue or a good warrior.

Paladins can last long enough for their teammates to peel unless they're terrible.

There's a reason RLS gets destroyed by good RMPs and good PHDs, and it isn't because of the rogue or warlock.
