Warrior, Reached 80. Is it ready for Heroics?

Is this gear adequate for Heroics. Any gears suggestions and gem critique.

This is my fifth level 80 so I have been able to get a decent starter gear. Please feel free to disagree

Yeah, you should be fine as long as you're with people who don't expect you to be able to hold agro as DPS in 226 gear AOEs their way through a heroic.

I would suggest getting the JC tanking ring, and the BOE tanking ring off of Sarth 10 if you can get them on the AH for cheap, as well as collecting the mats for the Engineering Tank gun (Armor Plated Combat Shotgun). Blacksmiths can also make ilevel 187 legs, Daunting Legguards that should have more armor stamina and defense than the tempered ones.

I will suggest hitting tankspot.com for gear lists there are quite a few places to get easy upgrades (not just ToC) such as the defense trinket from regular HoL that would easily replace the two you have. Also the wanted quest in Zul'Drak that gives very nice starter tanking weapons. Also keep in mind you can lose a bit of defense and stay uncrittable because of resilience (not the best option but it works in a pinch if you get an upgrade with lower defense). Also read the guides on tankspot as far as gems and enchants go. Strength gems are the best for a tank, they aren't that bad but theres definitely much better options. (Stam, Def, Hit, Expertise, Dodge, or a combination of those)

Is your warrior wearing gear? If yes, then you are ready for heroics. No Vigilance and only 3 points in Shield Spec?

Also, what the heck is your priest's 0/68/3 spec supposed to accomplish?
