Firefighter 10 - When to Hero?

Alright.

We're pretty sure we have Firefighter in the bag.
Our 10 man Guild got it down to several 1-3% wipes with our main Healer and Guild Leader running with 2k-3k+ MS on the fight and just spamming hots and predicting damage.
He went away for a week for his work, came back and the internet is solid again.

Now in our first few attempts we were using Heroism in Phase 2 because it was healing intensive, but now the Healers are all good with Phase 2 and don't need it.
We used it on Phase 3 a few times and with only 2 ranged and 4 melee we got the head down to like 30% in one core with Hero.

Now, instead should we:

A - Grab 2 Cores before pulling the head down in Phase 3, then use Hero, he goes back up and then bring him down again.

B - Use it Phase 2.

C - Grab one Core, use it, kill the next bot, and then bring him down again.

What would benefit us the most?

It should be used in phase 2 I belive to get it down even quicker, giving you more time for the last part making it less hectic.

Of those three choices, I would definitely choose A.

You've already said P2 is under control now, so I don't think it's really necessary there. From my experience beating Mimiron10-HM, P3 is the most critical phase. Getting through it with enough time left, in my experience, has been the clincher, but there is a little information missing. Are you wiping just due to dying(and if so, to what,) or are you hitting the enrage?

If the enrage is the problem, definitely Hero in P3 and blow it up. If it's just general damage income, say due to the fires, then maybe you should use it in P4 since in P3 you're just killing your firebot spawn rate if you detonate the ACU quickly.

No doubt a bloodlust is spent best in phase 3. Just have 2 different melee picking up 1 core each (one person with 2 cores will place both if used). Drag the head to a spot clear of fire, get it down, pop the bloodlust, wait for the head to be at the top again before placing the second core (it might bug when the head is going up) and then burn it down

Our wipes were usually due to too much damage going around and our Druid dying to Rocket Strikes because he never saw them until about 3 seconds after they actually show up on our screens.

We also would panic a lot in phase 4, rather than making sure we get it.
We usually would wipe on 1-3% with about 15 seconds left, and about 4 DPS dead.

Sounds like the druid not getting beasted would clear up some of the damage intake problem as well, since I assume you're talking about the GL with the terrible internet that you also mentioned was a healer. Try your option A, see how it goes, I predict a kill if you can maintain discipline in P4.

Alright, thanks for all the help.

Another problem we occasionally had was we would LoS the head behind one of the walls and then as soon as we dropped the head down fire would spawn right on us.
Is there a certain timer on spawns, or should we be doing something different?

Indeed, go with A. Don't be too enthusiastic with the second core though, we've had a couple tries when it would bug out and not take the head down if used too quickly after it going back up the first time.

also make sure all your dps besides head tank in p3 is on bots.
Pick 2 cores and than BL, you might have to move head a bit between second core so your melee will have place to stand, use corners on sides of room :P
Also on p4 for us worked best that tank taunted head, that makes you 1 dps less to heal constantly from 10k spikes.

I found (for us atleast) that putting every single dps besides ranged tank on assault bot works best, as the faster you get core, the faster you get thru p3 and less unnesesary adds to kill.

Yes it does, try out Deus Vox Encounters (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-a...ncounters.aspx).
Its basicly DBM/Bigwigs but bit better
So if atleast 1 person will have it and announce fire spawns, its easy to group up in between phases in a corner to minimalize area covered by fire.

One time a friend and I were talking about a fight in a class at school, and he mentioned "BL" and I was like, wtf? Heroism, imo.
