How much dps do you regularly pull?

This is just a general query to find out what kind of dps people are putting out, since I do tend to see a lot of people putting up figures which I don't often find myself getting all that close to. This isn't a /flex thing for me, just trying to get some understanding of where I'm at with my gear.

Firstly, on wow-heroes my gearscore comes in as 2618 (Sánty, Ghostlands) and usually in a raid, on bosses I'll pull anywhere between about 5.5k dps to 6.7k before I'm going oom. This is usually with buffs, but not flasks because most of ulduar and toc normal is on farm. So we're talking northrend beasts, XT, Kologarn etc etc.

Was doing 4.7k on the heroic dummy with normal ammo and my wolf pet, using only cotw, rapid fire, dragonhawk and trueshot aura. Just getting massacre on my new 2h then my arp will proc at 100% arp just wondering if this is competitive, or if some of these hunters with lower gear are just spouting tall stories about how great dps they're doing lol.

I'm getting 3k dps on heroics with my normal group on my hunters, note that I haven't gemed her in epics yet or enchanted her stuff as I dropped her for my mage. I'm currently debating if the nerf to armor-pen will change my plans on migrating her to marks after I'm done gearing up my cute little mage-y.

My dps actually decreased when I moved my gems from ap to agil, but I'm not sure if it was due to any errors on my part. I changed specs at the same time, and it might still be a bit goofy.

I'll update my post if I get any better confirmation on dps off of the test realms.
(My realm was one of the ones on whirlwind.)

Edit: I did bm first for the lols. All on heroic dummy.
BM was 2.3k using kill command, serp.sting, arcane, bw, steady
Surv was 3k, a bit more when l&l proc'd
I did not use Rapid Fire or my Berserking (racial)

Depends on group setup..


Heroics i can pull between 2.5 to 3.5k (depending on boss/setup of group)

Highest was 4.2k on one heroic... although im not sure how..

Raids varies depending on buffs/setup etc too... highest ive done there was 9.2k on a 10man sarth.. although i generally average out at around 5-6k

I tend to hit about 2.7-3.0k when in heroic but i've still got my 70 BoJ Xbow. Go Go UK never dropping weapons!

4.2k on Heroic Training dummy self buffed(TSA/AotD), 6k in raids, on anub arak before he submerged in 25man i was able to hit 7.5k for the first time

my last try on patchwerk as a survival hunter was just over 7.8k..was really trying to hit 8k but no joy.
in toc hc 25man i can do anything from 5.5k to7k depending on raid setup and fight.

As SV im currently doing between 3k to 4.5k on heroics and 5k to 6k in raids, it highly depends on our 25 man and if we have a pally using JoW

Usually do somewhere in between 6-7k on movement/gimicky fights (beasts).

However, best turret type fights so far have to be this week's 7.9k Koralon, 8.3k Jaraxxus and 10.3k on Twins.
Also managed 9.5k some time ago on Loatheb25 in a random PuG.

Haven't even got any ToC gear yet, so it can only go up from there.

That's 25 as my guild rarely does any 10man stuff. Sadly, had a Mistress do the throwy thing on me, so I guess it could've been higher. Generally though I've just been whoring the meters, even made it into more than 10 of the WMO Europe top hunter dps charts. :>

Eh, dps meters are notoriously unreliable, too much things go on during a fight. I usually dps between 2500-3500 on heroics, but it depends on which fight, which boss, how the group is set up, etc. Sometimes in a heroic with a lot of movements or breaks in dps(HoL with a group who can't heal through nova as one example) I can drop to around 1800.

Was doing around 4100 throughout most of my guilds Naxx 10 last night, and that was with a very bad setup(we are a very casual guild, our core raiders are whoever happens to be logged in when we have 10 level 80s online

I'm still learning, as I only dinged 80 and switched to SV only 7 days ago.

But so far in Heroics and Raids I do 4100-4800 DPS.

I have yet to try MM but I don't have enough ArP for the build nor do I have Grim Toll.

6.5-7.5k usually in 25s. Higher on really ideal (no movement at all, everyone in range, single target, predictable duration, no interruption, pet friendly) burns like P3 of Steelbreaker Last, was at 8k ish (just counting p3 of course, no runes and movement in p1/2) the last time we did that, in considerably worse gear than current.

Some fights I can climb well over that, and I'm not even great geared yet...

6k+ on every boss that doesn't have some sort of ability that limits dps or eeeeeeendless movement. Haven't done Patch in ages but I wouldn't be surprised if I was doing ~7.5k.

managed 6556 on Emalon in VOA yesterday, with a gun from 5man HToC, luckily survival is forgiving of shit weapons.

7.5 k on my last patchwerk, perfect synergy setup, no heroism/hysteria/tricks inflation though.. I'd really like to see where I'd up with those on a stationary turret fight.

Depends on the fight.

IC is around 7.4k,

Hodir is usually around 11k, depending on the buffs that are available,

Kologarn is usually 6k ish

Ignis is around 7k

Flame Lev is around 200k.....lolz
