Should we even bother bringing a rogue to 10 man when it would be much easier to stack buffs for casters? What can a rogue really bring that would help when casters and DK's can do more dps with more utility?

Competent rogues do some pretty good damage not to mention FoK spam makes the faction champs a hell of a lot easier.
We used a Rogue for our Hc TotC 10 run, on anub'arak she specced FoK for innterupts so that the adds didnt teleport 1shot kill us, also she did top dmg done on him, so ofc you should . aslong as you arent a hunter and she takes your trinks/rings/necks it will go good ;D
Assa = 3 % crit
Combat = 4% phys dmg
rogues do heavy single target dmg, and they can specc "throwing specialization" for faction champion.
so yes you should bring 1

You should definetly bring a rogue, we bring a buff, and Throwing Specialization helps alot on several encounters.

they also bring a 20% armor debuff if you do not have a warrior and tricks of the trade is nice.
A compitent rogue can bring many things to Faction Champions, such as blind, mind numbing poison, snare poison, wound poison, daze, stuns, interupts, and heavy single-target DPS.
The snare poison and daze are particularily key as the faction champions fight is largely about movement, staying away from the heavy damage dealers by slowing their movement speed since other forms of CC are very unreliable.
Interupts are key and a good rogue keeps his kick on cooldown. Sadly the FoK interupt is getting nerfed soon, but for the time being, getting the heavy DPS NPCs away from the casters, CCed and slowed, while a FoKing rogue spreads mind numbing and wound poison aboiut while interupting constantly on the casters and heaelers makes a huge difference in easing this fight.
For the initial burning down of a healer, a rogue with all his cooldowns running can pump out some serious DPS to get the first target down before CCs start becoming immune.
A good rogue makes a big difference, a bad rogue tends to either makes matters worse or just die quickly.
i think a good 10 man raid has at least one if not even two rogues. buff them like mad and you will have the strongest raid dps possible.
our roque is topping dps meter most time, and as previously posted, they have some buffs. So yes, bring the roques.
