Hey i am curious about two things in regards to inscription. The first being what is the cost of getting it from 1-400, i know all servers have different economies, but what would be a safe estimate for it. Secondly what is the cost of making Darkmoon Card of the North, and is it profitable, is it worth making these if you have the money. I know its a random RNG thing on which card you get, but does it eventually make money and if so is it worth it?

Card prices just check your local AH. For the leveling cost, yet again visit the AH with THIS shopping list.

It helps enormously if you have herbalism as a second profession, or if you have it on an alt. When I leveled inscription, I saved a packet by relying on my fiancee for herbs at below-market prices, but even then it was expensive.

Darkmoon Cards of the North fluctuate price-wise, and I don't see them being advertised for sale on my server at the moment. That may be a good thing (less competition) or a bad thing (no one is buying) - I couldn't tell you, and have no idea of the market on other servers.

I just powerlevelled my Inscription as well but it was with the help of Herbalism.

If you're going to buy herbs to power level, it will strongly depend on the prices of your AH.

Mid level Azeroth herbs on my server goes for 20-25g a stack. Much too costly.

As for the Darkmoon cards... like I said, its better if you have your own Herbalist else its not worth making. The card you get for spending 6 Snowfall Ink (25g a piece on my server) and 3 Eternal life plus some inks, is NOT guaranteed to be the one you want.

Like right now, I'm stuck with a lot of useless Chaos cards, etc and I still dont have my first Greatness deck made.



For levelling, I strongly recommend you use wow-professions.com. It helped me a great deal with Herb levelling locations and Inscription levelling.
