Warlocks don't have a best spec because
1) It's extremely difficult to win Arenas as a warlock of any spec.
2) It's extremely easy to win BG's as a warlock of any spec.
Pick the one you play the best and master it. There is no advantage in taking Destro (burst) that isn't countered by Affliction (self heals, control) that isn't countered by Demonology (survivability, buffs).

I'd say dest vs. afflic, afflic will win mostly.
only way to play demo pvp is to have 20 points in afflic with CoEx. fear+drain

It really is fun, to play something else sometimes ^^... I can't say it's better than affliction or destro, but certainly not bad itself. Your main damage source is high spellpower dots, immolate and searing pain spam. Oh, and don't forget, the pet adds a nice amount of damage itself.
You DONT have great burst, you DONT have heavy damage over time. But you can try it out, if there are HOUNDREDS (
) of melees in your battlegroup. The pet adds constant damage even if you are unable to do anything. Further your pet nearly can't die and you've got meta to survive a great deal of melee burst. (In arena nearly perfect for double DPS setups)
And last but not least - Many opponents do not know how to play against a demo warlock ^^
If you use firestone, you've got about 35% basic crit, and 45% crit with searing pain. Adding it up with the glyph and quiet some spellpower, you often crit targets for 4k-6k damage every 1.3 seconds.
