Reporting AFKers feature getting abused

It's a good idea to do something against botters and leechers, but it's getting abused by fuckers who have nothing to do than randomly reporting people afk on the map. You can't even go to the toilet for 30 seconds if you are on the graveyard because some idiot will report you afk. And if youre in AV for example youre fucked, because you often can't get into a fight in the one minute limit. I even got reported while deffing stuff, because of some no-lifers which feel good when they report people. And in the end it doesn't stop people from botting, because more advanced bots act like players.

Well technically running to the toilet for 30 seconds is still AFK. So no abuse here, stop being mad that you got caught trying to AFK.

It's at the point where people are fed up with leeching idiots that ruin bgs. If you don't want to get reported make sure you make people aware of your presence. Talk in /bg if you have to, someone chatting is rarely likely to be reported whilst defending a base.

If you look afk, you're going to get reported.

i remember when the feature was quite new, whole raid could get reported and start getting inactive debuff warning before the gates even open...

You can't tell me you never have these moments where you have to go a minute or two afk, because you have to go the toilet, you spilled some drinks, someone is ringing on the door or whatever. And then you come back and you got reported and you can't get into combat in the limit and you get kicked.

Sorry, but as others have said if you're in the toilet you're actually afk and if you were defending stuff you'd actually be engaged in pvp and thus wouldn't get a debuff.

Sorry, but as others have said if you're in the toilet you're actually afk and if you were defending stuff you'd actually be engaged in pvp and thus wouldn't get a debuff.

In don't know whats going on in your battlegroup, but in AV or AB you can often defend towers for minutes with no enemy contact.

You said yourself that you were going afk, even if its just for 2 minutes to get a drink. It isn't abuse of the system if people report your ass afk if you are, gasp, actually afk. The time that you are afk doesn't matter.

No, the OP doesn't have a valid point in what he said. What you just said might have some merit, but this doesn't apply to what the OP said at all. It might be abuse if people report you simply because they don't like you, but in the OPs situation, I'd report him too because he's actually going afk, it doesn't matter how long he is afk for.

I thought people didn't realy use it, but today I went afk 1-2 mins in an ab to get my pizza out of the oven and saw the debuff. I was happy people use the feature, entered combat, killed someone and then ate my pizza, while winning the bg. Everyone was happy.
