How old is the oldest player you have seen?

I read an article once about a 92 year old Gearman guy who plays regularly... he doesnt raid or anything and mostly enjoys soloing stuff but yeah... oldest person to play WoW I'ver ever heard of... as far as oldest I've seen personally, there's a 58 year old guy in my guild now actually... he's an officer and actively raids...

"heard of..." and "seen" is big major different, i heard about big monster rat in NY....

I know of a 68 y/o woman in WoW that actively raids. She plays an arcane mage and does pretty amazing dps. She's currently a core raider with us for H ToC25... ironically despite her age, she never dies from those light/dark balls in Heroic Twins. Some of the younger ones can't keep up tho. Bless her soul I'm glad she's raiding with us.

I'm very surprised she's able to maintain her high dps despite yelling at her grandkids at the same time (yes, she pressed push-to-talk key quite a few times while she was yelling at her grandkids. Once she was like, "wow, I'm laggy... hmm brb"... goes /afk for a few minutes... then returns "Ok my internet is ok now... the kids were downloading porn on the other computer..."

The oldest player I've ever known would have to be a 63 year old guy from my last guild, he played because his grandkids did. His son got him into computers back in the late 80s then he got into computer games after his kids got into them in the 90s. When they started playing wow he got into it to. Apparently he was big into D&D back in the 70s to when he was going through the hippie years so he thought it was allot of fun. He was actually very good at strategy & thinking out how to best do boss fights with what raid setups we had.

Had a 65 year old priest who was our top healing during raiding in TBC! Super nice guy who hated PvP and kept his professions/enchants/gems always maxed =D

Late 40's (female), best resto druid I've ever played with, also one of the nicest. Pre-nurf Mu'ru TBC alliance guild.

I may have played with someone in their 50's, but not too sure on those details.

I was in a guild for a while where our RL was an 82 year old gnome warrior. No lie, I heard him on vent and everything. Kind old soul.

Most 40+ players I've met were super bad. I don't know why.

My friends grandfather, hes one of those old people who actually adapted to technology instead of ignoring it and hoping it goes away
Hes about 75 now, only has 2 80s and theyre both in decent TotC 10man gear, pretty good healer but he has to turn his vent up REALLY high (not trying to be funny, hes almost deaf)

Soooo much cow dung in this thread. I could see people into their 50's raiding, Oldest I raided with personally was 48, She was utter fail though, Once got out healed in SSC by a shadow priest . People older than mid 50's though I could maybe see playing once in a blue moon while their kids/grand kids showed them what to do and fail miserably at it but beyond that there is some crap going on in here the sort of "I'll outdo the previous poster by claiming to know someone even older".

The oldest was my old guild leader who was just about to hit 64 before the guild broke up. I always thought he was around 40 till someone mentioned his bday and age. The even more frightening thing is that he was a total creeper and we only were able to keep one female in the guild for over a month, and that was because her husband was an officer.

Saw a thread about the youngest player, and now I'm curious to know about the oldest player.

Personally; I know a hardcore player (a woman lol) that is almost going to ding 70 in real life.

She can't do Ulduar anymore but has 5 80's with welfare epics in every slot

50's or 60's i think. Usually retired people, and yeah, usually a little slower on the uptake, but much more willing to accept constructive criticism and assistance in playing.

Suprisingly, i find myself much more patient with older players than younger players. Mostly because i'm impressed they have the aptitude to play these "new-fangled computer game, things" whereas i expect younger people to be much more experienced in this media.

There were once a married couple in my guild who ever like if I remember correctly late forties/early fifties. They were the same level and went everywhere with each other. THey were very nice people too; very polite.

Have had previous guildies that where 60 something. Had quite alot in the 40-50 range. To me that's "old" :P
