1. Faction dependent, Saurfang for the Horde and Bolvar for the alliance.
2. A deathknight with Bolvar and Saurfang combined. Probably Saurfangs spirit into Bolvar's body, just like the original Death Knights (and the lich king himself kinda is a fuse between an human and an orc).

The second one would be the best. The Lich King's most powerful Death Knight should be modeled after the lich king himself.

The first death knight was an Orc's soul in a Human's body. In the Wrathgate cinematic, the Lich King took Saurfang Jr.'s soul, but not Fordragon's. My best guess is that he puts Saurfang's soul into Bolvar's body and that somehow makes them the strongest Death Knight.

the soul of a godlike warrior in life and son of the most badass person to live in the world...of warcraft infused in the body of bolvar fordragon, the head paladin of the alliance and the only guy badass enough to be a ret paladin with a shield.

Now I just want to say that I know very little about lore. I think that Saurfang and Bolvar are good possibilities. I have entertained the idea that its someone else tho. Back in the dk area when the battle for lights hope took place there were 3 dks and mograine....as we know mograin thaurassian (sp?) and koltiar (again sp?) became the alliance/horde knights of the ebon blade reps. The third Orbaz bloodbane runs like abitch when the shit hits the fan and before the lich king shows up. I'm inclined to think its him....again I'm probably wrong and I dont know how the game has progressed since then as I canceled my account a few months after launch.

I think that it is Bolvar's soul (stripped of its free will, of course) in Saurfang's body, like a play on the very first Death Knights (Orc souls in the bodies of slain human knights). I know this is odd, since the Lich King took Saurfang's soul and seemed to leave Bolvar alone, but once Frostmourne steals a soul it becomes one with the blade and every other soul it has taken(the first being Arthas'), yet Saurfang's body and Bolvar's soul remained untouched/unassimilated. Probably not going to happen this way, but I still think it is a possibility.

it doesn't become one with the blade. the blade just specifically STEALS souls.
