Gay is an adjective for homosexual. It used to be a synonym for happy. Now it is both an adjective for homosexual and a synonym for bad. There is no relation between the two. Using it as an adjective for bad has nothing to do with being closed minded. It has to do with the development of slang. I use "gay" as your despised adjective all the time, because it's part of the slang where I grew up. I do not have anything against homosexuals. It's a shame liberal thinkers like you think that they are mutually exclusive.
